Back to Spellbinders...

Hi Everybody,

Today I am helping my daughter with packing as she is moving house in two weeks time.

We have to get everything ready to go into storage for a short while until the house she is buying is ready for her to move in to.

She text me the other day with her moving date and I asked jokingly "Oh and where are you moving too" and she text back with "Your house for about three weeks...."

So the card featured is one I made a while ago and uses the new Imperial Gold dies from Spellbinders.

I have used the Gold Labels Four and layered it with Gold Ivy for a very pretty combination.  I have used some pink Organza ribbon topped with pink silk ribbon and a button form my button jar on the knot.

The Pink swirl flourish is from Want2Scrap

The background has been embossed and the edges pierced and I have done a little video on Pierced Edges that may help you if you are new to the idea.

Here is a sobering thought .... I have had to go to the Doctors because apparently my blood pressure is high and I asked him why as I have always had low BP.

He said   ... "When you are young your veins are like flexible tubes ... but when you get to your age they are like ....er  rigid pipes"      well thanks for that Doc ... I felt about a hundred and two ....

See you tomorrow

Hugs xx

  8. Lovely card. Hope the packing with DD goes well. And I totally know what you mean about the BP and the DR. I was told the same thing basically, and felt ancient by the time his office.... Oh well at least we craft and relax to lower it maybe... LOL

  9. Hmmm doctors have such a way with words don't they?? On the rare occasions I see our doctor I swear his BP goes up - can almost hear him muttering "Oh no not her again!!" I don't let them get away with anything lol.

    Beautiful card as always.
Hope the packing goes well and that your daughter's move into her new home (after her stay with you) goes smoothly!
