Decorative Labels 8

Hi Everybody,

Here I am ... back to pink again.

I just love this colour and make cards in pink whenever I get the chance.

This one is created from the Decorative Labels 8 in the Filigree Hinged Style

I have embossed and  layered  Labels 8 on top with foam pads ... after wrapping the braid around the layer.

Fleur Di Lis Rectangles have been add and I have used the two largest sizes.

The sentiment was free from a magazine I subscribe to and the single gemstone is from Want2Scrap

The braid was a bargain from the local haberdashery shop at just 10p a metre .... and being a frugal crafter I bought loads of it.

The pretty rosebuds are from Wild Orchid Crafts  and add a touch of delicacy to the card.

Peach and White

Hi Everybody,

Here is one of my favorite colour cards and this is a lovely peach colour that is so fresh.

The cards is an 8" square with lots of layers ... and it has a   Pierced Edge

The  Organza Ribbon is  from Mei Flower  and I have made it into a triple bow  with the Bow Maker   that is available to purchase in "My Shop"

The large pearl centre  covers  the knot and then  I have added into the mix  a Decorative Hatpin  ...  and they are also available in   My Shop

The flowers are from  Wild Orchid Crafts  and the corsage is a mixture of Carnations, Tulips, Roses, Cherry Blossom and some large Chrysanthemums.

The sentiment is from   Lili of the Valley  and it has been stamped and heat embossed in Silver .... and it has been die cut from Labels 20.  The matching "Bling" from  Want2Scrap   has been added

Pure White ...

Hi Everybody,

I love the tone on tone effect on cards and they look so classy.

This suits cards for any occasion and there is no need to worry about clashing colours schemes.

This is a Hinged card and I have used the 5 x 7 Matting basics layered with the Detailed Scallops to create the look.

The I added the second largest of the decorative Labels 8 to stamp the sentiment onto.... and I have heat embossed it in silver.

The lace and the organza ribbon are wrapped around the  base and a large bow added to the right.

The centre of the bow is covered with a large Dazzler and a few Diamante gemstones from Want2Scrap are added to the frame.

I love the verse that is on the card ... but I cannot remember where it is from.

Is your Grand Calibur broken ??

Hi Everybody,

When I went to the Craft show a few weeks ago I got talking to a young man that offered a really good service for broken Grand Calibur machines.

His name is Chris  and I thought it was such a good deal that I needed to tell you about it too. So keep the link safe ... because sooner or later you may need to use it.

It is no secret that I  love my Spellbinders and use them every day.  But I have had a broken Calibur in the past and I had to send it away to be fixed ...   fortunately it was still under warranty.  But something on the internal workings had fallen off  mine and the machine rattled when ever it was moved and that's not good !!

Everything else was still there for me with my machine ... plates, handle, tan mat ... all I need was the Calibur.

I know  they are not a cheap machine to buy and so if yours breaks maybe you don't need to replace the whole lot.   So this is a deal that seems to me far better if you need to replace a machine that is out of warranty.

Take a look at this .... Grand Calibur Deal   .... and see what you think.

You get a reconditioned machine AND money back for your old one when you send it to Chris. Tell him if you prefer a machine with the wider mouth ... as some of the older machines will not take the newer  plates.

But I hope it helps you if you need to replace your old machine that is broken.

A Friend Is ....

Hi Everybody,

Yesterday I reached for the Floriography CD from My Craft Studio as there are some really pretty papers on there.

Lots of flowers and pinks and delicate patterns and oh so girly.

This really is one of my most favorite CD's  for backing papers.

I have created the base from the Matting Basics and layered my paper onto some pink card.

It is not very clear on the photo but the paper has then been run through the Calibur with the Butterfly Garden Impressabilities

I have layered that with the Radiant Rectangles but the centre has been created with the matching stamp that adds the filigree pattern to the oval of the die set.

I have heat embossed it in silver along with the sentiment and added them with foam pads.

The Triple Bow is made with the Bow Maker   and uses a beautiful organza ribbon

The pretty Roses  in the centre are from Wild Orchid Crafts   and the pearls in each corner are some of the  Bulk Bling form Want2Scrap
