Book Card ...

Hi Everybody,

This card is made from the Grand Labels Four and is also one of the items that is sold in
My Shop  in kit form.

I have added  the flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and sparkled with Glitter Magic

Into the corsage I have added another item from My Shop which is one of the Decorative Hatpins.

The card stand is from Joy Crafts and I bought mine from Ebay and  it is just the right size to hold this style of card.

I have also created a box to compliment the card and I lined it with pink tissue paper.
I decorated it with the same embellishments to match the card.

The pearls are from Want2Scrap and match the Labels Twenty Three

There is also a small baby shoe added in the centre of the card.

The round sentiment is from Lili of the Valley

Tapestry in Pink ...

Hi Everybody,

Todays card is using the Tapestry die from Spellbinders.

I have just folded A4 card to make the base with the fold at the top of the card.

I have trimmed it to fit the mats and layers with the pattern on the top layer.

The ribbon is from my "Stash" and I have wrapped it around the layers and then added it to the base

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts with a touch of sparkle from Glitter Magic

The black pearls are from Want2Scrap  and they are added to the pattern and sentiment labels.

So something a little bit different from me for a change though still with flowers, ribbons and pearls.

Diamond Top Card

Hi Everybody,

Here is a pretty card that would suit all different types of occasions and once it is decorated the way you want it it will fit into a standard sized envelope.

The video shows you how to get the shape in the top section and it is not as complicated as it would at first seem to be.

This video was made nearly three years ago and it looks really dated now, buy it still serves the purpose of showing the easy way to make the card.

And I also did the  written instructions  for the card too

It was long before I discovered Want2Scrap and Wild Orchid Crafts and so it may be a bit of a disappointment with the lack of "Bling"

Perhaps I need to do the video again and refresh the idea with new additions.

But you know keeping a photo of all the cards you make ...( and you do keep photos of your cards don't you ??? ) ... shows you how you improve over the years ... and I think I have improved in my time making cards.

Live Laugh Love ...

Hi Everybody,

This is a simple little card and is created with the  US A2 size matting basics die sets

The sentiment is from Crafters Companion  and I have embossed it in silver and added it to Labels Twenty Three.

The butterflies are from the Butterfly Corners set and I have added pearls to the body line.

I inked through the die before moving the card and that leaves the pattern on the wings.

I used the rest of that die to create the pocket inside for the label where you can add your signature or a greeting.

The ribbon is from my "Stash" with a flower centre over the knot.

So just an easy card to make ... and not a flower in sight ...(sigh!)

Color combo ...

Hi Everybody,

Todays card is created using Spectrum Noir and that Isopropyl method once more to make everything blend

Colors used ...

Birthday cake          PP1 PP3 PP5
Shading                   BT2
White flowers          BT2
White ribbon           BT5

It is simply cut into a 15 cms square and layered with pink and dotty card, but the effect is a pretty card.

The flowers are from  Wild Orchid Crafts    and were white at the start. And the little pearls and diamante centre on the bow is also from WOC

They have been sparkled with  Glitter Magic  and the satin ribbon is from  MeiFlower

The image  is a digital  download from  Paper Printables  and is one of many free images and backing papers.

My Thanks to You ...

Thank you so much for all the response to a "Friday Freebie" and thank you also for all your fairness and concern about the expense it will cost me to do it on a weekly basis.  The reason I offered it weekly is because  I accumulate so  many cards.

When I film a video I make one card to show what I am going to do ...  and  then another to show how I did it, and then  maybe one  or two more  to show some alternative ways to do it or a different color.

So from one tutorial I could end up with four cards.  I sell some  ...  I also give many away to charity  ...   my girls end up with a box full at Christmas for them to use through the year .... but I still have lots here in my craft room.

And even though I say it myself there are some really pretty cards that need a home.  That is the reasoning behind my offer and if they can give pleasure to someone else then it would be worth the cost of the card, embellishments,  my time and the postage.

The first one will be offered next week in the first freebie offer.
