More of the Blues...

Hi Everybody,

I love this shade of blue and it is from a paper pack that I got at the crafts show

There are 20 sheets in the pack and it is from Limetree Craft ...

When I Googled the name it came up with quite a few and I am not sure which one it is and so I haven't added the link.

The lacy panel on the card is  the Californian Collection by  Sue Wilson  and this one is called Hollywood   from   JGD Crafts ... and they will ship abroad for those of you who are having trouble getting the die in your own country.

The pearly flourish is from  Want2Scrap
The ribbon is from  Mei Flower  and is a soft and pretty gingham and I have tied it into a double bow.

The flowers and the Diamante centre to the bow are from  Wild Orchid Crafts   and the little sentiment is from  Crafters Companion

If you look carefully at this card then you can see that the outer blue layer is the waste that is left over from the Reflective Moments

Once the filigree panel was cut for the   Blue card  shown the other day   I  couldn't just throw this away  and so here it is here.

Just by carefully positioning the die on the card you wish to cut can give you something extra ... sort of two for the price of one !!

Samaflora Flowers ...

Hi Everybody,

These beautiful Roses came in the post yesterday and they are all handmade and gorgeous.

The colors are soft and pretty and they will really make any of your cards look special.

I bought these from Samaflora and you can take a look at what Samantha has to offer or make an order ... Samaflora

Don't forget to tell here who sent you  and click the "Like" button while you are there.  You won't be disappointed ... and that's a promise
So I made a card and I have added just one single flower to the ribbon and it really is a statement piece.

The card is created with white linen card from Papermill Direct and all I have done is create panels with he matting basics.

Then placed the Petite Monarch die at the bottom of the top panel and layered the cut piece at the bottom and embossed what is the waste piece for the top.

I have used the Tied Together folder and added pearls to the cross section and wrapped matching ribbon  around the layers.

These have then been added to another embossed layer with foam tape o raise them up.

It was a pretty card but with the addition of the flower it became special.

Thank you Samantha the flowers are lovely

Beautiful Blue

Hi Everybody,

Just for a change I thought I would go for Blue and this is a very pretty shade.

I have layered it all up with the White Linen card from Papermill Direct   and there are several layers all  separated with foam  pads  to give the depth.

The back  has been embossed with the A4 folder called Basket Weave and I can't remember where it was from.

The blue filigree layer is from the new die set 5 x 7 Reflective Moments from Spellbinders.
The close up shows you a white embossed panel and this is one of the double sided  M-Bossabilities from Spellbinders called Infinity

I have added pearls from  Want2Scrap

The gingham ribbon is from  Mei Flower   and the buckle centre is from   The Hobby House

I have made several cards using this color scheme lately and over the next few days I will add them for you to see

Purple Haze ...

Hi Everybody,

I found this lovely shade of purple ribbon in my "Stash" and of course it had to feature in a very pretty card.

I tied it into a triple bow and added one of my Primark pieces to the centre.

I also used one in the centre of the flower and so this is a very glitzy card.

I also found the fabric Dragon flies in my bit box and thought that they would look very pretty on the card too.

I added one to the top and one inside to compliment the design.
The dies I have used are from Sue Wilson and  I cannot add photos of the dies yet as they are relatively new ... but the collections are available from   JGD Crafts

I have used. Seville from the Spanish Collection for the back ground  and topped it with San Francisco from the Californian collection.

The card I use is from  Papermill Direct  and is the White Linen at 270 gsm.

It makes an excellent base for my designs and I use it for the layers too.

The sentiment is from Crafters Companion and is one from the Sentimentals Range

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts  sparkled up with fine glitter from Glitter Magic

The Diamante around the centre piece is from Want2Scrap  and it is the one that matches  Spellbinders Labels Twenty and it just happens to compliment this shape too.

Guess What ... It's Pink ...

Hi Everybody,

Here we are with another Sunday morning and the start of a new week.  I hope it is a good one for you all and for me it will be a busy one.

After my escapade yesterday at the non existent craft show I thought I would make some pretty cards.

Val H   wrote that at least it showed I was human making a mistake like that.

Yes I am certainly human.  and I  bleed too   'coz  as I was cutting a lovely Fish Tail  into this ribbon ... I continued the very neat V with some really sharp scissors .... in to my finger.

I  had to stop it  bleeding with  some  kitchen roll wrapped around it  ... held in place with a  bright green  elastic band   as I couldn't find anything else  in my first aid box.

This card is created once again from the Sue Wilson dies and for this I have used the background from the Spanish Collection with the Galicia die on the top.

The sentiment is from   Lili of the Valley  and there are several on the same stamp plate.

The pearl flourishes are from  Want2Scrap  and they are around the sentiment label

I have used  Glitter Magic  on the mixture of flowers from   Wild Orchid Crafts  and they have some beautiful new products in this month that are well worth a browse
