Sweet Sixteen ...

Hi Everybody,

Because of all the cards that have been sold on Etsy I am now getting orders for specific designs.

This was requested especially for a daughters 16th birthday and the remit was pink and flowery.... and I am always happy to oblige with that kind of request.

I have the buyers permission to add it to a blog page and so here it is.

And once again I have to say it is much better in real life than the picture shows.
I have used flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts  and they are sparkled with Glitter Magic

Into them I have added a  pretty pink Hatpin  made from Diamante and glass beads... and it can be removed

I have double layered the ribbon with plain pink and the Gingham Ribbon is from Mei Flower  with a large pearl and Diamante centre.

The pearl flourishes along each side of the card are from  Want2Scrap  and they add the luxury touch

The inside has the pocket and tag for the signature or greeting to the recipient of the card.

    Good morning Christina,
    What a stunning card you have made for our delight today. I have my own "special nieces" 16th birthday coming up but she is into that horrible black with blue hair. Oh how i wish she would show off just how pretty she is by being a young lady instead of strange is the only way i can describe the youngsters fashion that are into that mad trend. Oh well, i suppose i could try it in black with electric blue like her hair and i already have a skull and cross bones charm that i can put on it. Thank you flower once more for your inspiration, the young lady that is receiving this card i hope puts it in a frame for her wall to keep it looking beautiful and a lasting memory.

    Do wish I had a granddaughter to give to this beautiful card, but I know my grandsons would not appreciate it. I so love this card, so soft and pink. I might just make one like, but maybe add something of my own just for me. Hugs.
