Todays card is using the Seville set from Sue Wilson and is part of her Spanish Collection.
This is such a versatile die that can be used in so many ways... and you will find this die and many others from Sues' other collections at JGD Crafts
Here I have used it with Gilding Flakes for a really opulent look and then layered all the panels together with lots of foam tape.
The ribbon is from my "Stash"
But the fancy centre is one of the pieces from the bracelets that I got in Primark a few weeks ago for a few pounds and dismantled.
It looks very pretty over the knot and worked out to have cost about 25 pence once the bracelet was pulled apart.... cheap as chips !!
I really like this die set as the lacy effect is right up my street.
I like intricate dies and the filigree look to my cards makes them very feminine ... especially in pastel colors ...
like er ! pink !!
More tomorrow ...
Hugs xx
What a gorgeous card, the dies are beautiful, and the added gilding just made it over the top. Another lovely work of art.

ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful card so rich and opulent looking the gilding flakes have added a real touch of luxury topped off with the bow and its trimming. I intend to visit a Primark store when I next have a trip off as we don't have any locally. Enjoy your weekend.

ReplyDeleteGood morning Christina,
ReplyDeletei can tell that you have fallen in love with Sue's dies as you have been making some of the most beautiful cards with them. The whole Spanish collection i love as they mix and mingle fantastically together. Must admit to loving the Californian collection as well and just wondering what you will make with that set. And yes the filigree does look so nice with eh pale pink or blue or lilac or lemon, but the first would be my first port of call and was to make my daughters engagement card and her sisters in lilac. Thank you Christina for the beautiful cards
Love and crafty hugs

What a beautiful card I love all of Sue's dies but the Spanish ones are my favourites. The embellishment from the bracelet is gorgeous you've made me think about using some of the pieces I have of broken jewellery. Thanks Christina for the idea
