Spectrum Noir

Hi Everybody,

Todays card is using the Spectrum Noir Pens and pencils on an image from Saturated Canary

Colors used ...
Pens
Skin     FS2 FS3 TN2 CR1
Hair     TN2 TN7 TN8  Pencils 97  98  002
Dress    LV1 LV2 LV3  Pencils  70  81

And the pencils really do make such a difference when used to accentuate areas of the image.

They are very easy to blend  ... with or without blending solution  ... and they have a soft waxy consistency to them

I have left the sentiment off as it could be for any occasion and can be added later ... but it is a pretty card that would suit many age groups.

How you dress up the card is a matter of choice but get out those pens and keep practising and if you can afford the pencils then they are well worth collecting.

More tomorrow ...

Hugs xx

  6. Good morning Christina,
I got MY pencils finally when they came available again at CC as i really like the addition that they can make to a finished project as proven by your lovely work of art today that could be for a prom, 18, 21 or even a younger lady who appreciates the work in it. The one thing i want to know is where can i get hair like that from? Thank you Christina once more,
    Love and crafty hugs

  8. Hi Christina
Another stunning card today. Love how you have coloured the girl in. I invested in pro markers when they came out and wonder if it's worth investing in these as well. Would be interested to get someone's opinion on this subject.

  16. You sure know how to use those Spectrum Noir pencils. The shading and shadows and highlights are amazing. Thanks for sharing. I only discovered that Spectrum Noir had pencils, a few days ago. Maybe I can add them to my list in the near future.

  23. Hi Christina. I've just got home from craft class at JGD crafts. Janet has been showing us the technique of colouring hair, skin and dresses. I only have the pencils and wonder if they can achieve a high standard result too. Also which ones you would use
