I have had a couple of emails this week asking me about the Grand Decorative Ovals and so what better time to show you a card made using those very items.
This is another example of making the most of your dies and using them in ways other than their intended purpose.
This is in video format so that you can see how I made the card and on the page on the website you will find links to two other ways to use Grand Decorative Ovals giving you even more scope with these large dies.
Here is the tutorial for you and I hope you enjoy it and for the others just click the link above (the pink words) ...
The pearl flourish is from Want2Scrap for a really luxurious touch to the card. The flowers I have used on all three cards are from Wild Orchid Crafts
The butterfly on this card is made by me and I have tutorial on how I made them ... Making Butterflies from flower petals.
More tomorrow ...

ReplyDeleteA really lovely card Christina! Thanks for your fab videos!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card....and no you certainly do not use too much bling , etc. as far as I'm concerned. It seems to me that that is your signature, and without all the pretty flowers, ribbons and pearls it just wouldn't be you....Hugs
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Card, will attempt this one I think :)
ReplyDeleteDo you put the card through the embossing folder before or after you have cut it?
Christina,
ReplyDeleteI truly enjoy your videos, I always learn something new. The card looks complicated, but truly simple to put together. Your instructions are clear and easy to follow, and your film crew does a great job.
