I am not staying with the Christmas theme for long ... but it is only 10 weeks away and so if you have lots of cards to make then you will have to get your skates on
This one uses the same die sets as yesterday and they are the Alphabets in both upper and lower case and the Heirloom Ornament from 2010
Yesterday I showed you the versatility of this die and today I am showing you how different it looks again with a change of color.
The addition of the white roses from Wild Orchid Crafts make it even prettier
I have added in some pearl flourish from Want2Scrap for the finishing touch and I think this is a lovely card that will sit in my stash until I send it to someone for Christmas.
More tomorrow ...
Hugs xx

very pretty, very versatile die. I am breathing a big sigh of relief, as my Christmas cards are finished. I hate to be a last minute Minnie.
ReplyDeleteGood morning Christina,
ReplyDeleteSorry i don't know where my brain was yesterday or that but thank you for the beautiful Christmas cards you have put up. Today's card colour would not normally be a me but the teal coloured mirri card doesn't half make the card pop with colour, beautiful and although i don't have the SB alphabet sets, i have other makes that i could use. Your flowers from Kim are gorgeous, no wonder you have given them pride of place.
Love and crafty hugs

Hi Christina
ReplyDeleteLove the card, but I'm not sure about the colour. I do like blue but this looks more of a bluesy green to me.
Love Christmas cards at any time of the year! Really lovely Christina.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful and elegant card...I love the teal color that you used...
ReplyDeleteWell done Christina
Hi Christina, not sure if my post went through yesterday however the red ones are lovely but I think this colour version is my favourite.

ReplyDeleteThe red version of this ornament looks great but I LOVE the blue version - you picked my favorite color of blue. http://www.pinterest.com/pin/415386765605295887/
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, I do love red and green for Christmas. I have a friend that loves browns and blues for Christmas. Thanks for sharing. Dianne
ReplyDeleteHi Christina, Blue seems to be increasing in popularity for Christmas cards these days, and although I have always been a traditionalist with greens and reds, even I am coming to quite like blue more and more! I look at it like this, Christmas (generally speaking) is a cold weather occasion, and blue is representative of cold ..... therefore...... it is so not out of place! lol! That's MY excuse and I am sticking to it! But then of ALL the shades there are of blue, Teal is my very favourite so this one really does sit right at home with me! I have the heirloom stamps and dies sets, and still yet to use them .... so, like you say, I really must get my skates on! Thanks again for sharing,
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Karen xx
