Yesterday in the Card Class we tried another technique of using the waste from the the dies and making them into a card.
Brenda chose pink and we used a diamond pattern and Mary chose gold and went for the Glass effect die from Spellbinders.
To create the look we needed some double sided adhesive sheet and although a bit fiddly it is well worth it in the end.
The words are some of the new Sentiments Collections and they are so handy to just cut and stick in place
Adding them in black made them pop from the cards. The addition f some satin ribbon and a little butterfly is all that the cards needed. Both ladies went away happy again and already looking forward to the next class.
More tomorrow ...
Hugs xx

ReplyDeleteI know that I would be happy if you taught me how to make beautiful like the one your twosome made...
ReplyDeleteWell done ladies.
Lovely cards ladies. Love both colors and nice bows.
ReplyDeletePS my whole set of Vintage dies arrived today. Pretty good delivery time as it only took 12 days from the UK and previous deliveries from there have taken between 3-4 weeks. They look lovely and I will have fun with them when I finish a planned and almost completed baby boy card and a 15th birthday card for my eldest Grand daughter, also designed so can't use new dies for that. Plenty of scope for unplanned cards to use the new dies on though :) xxx
ReplyDeleteWell done ladies you are playing a blinder.
ReplyDeleteChristina, hope you don't mind but I have a new name for you 'Duracell' - you seem to have energy endless, bless you. Perhaps you have the gift of bilocation? You really do amaze me when I see how much you get through.
