How cute is this image and it has been coloured with Gansai Tambi water colours.
I added the stripes to the shirt with a white gel pen and the background is created freehand with the paints.
The flower and the patches have been sparkled with the Wink Of Stella clear glitter pen.
The fence and the birds free hand drawn with a black fine liner to add a little more to my scene
I really enjoyed colouring this one and it took me ages to finish the card.
I added it all to a piece of white craft foam and then layered it onto the base which is a top folded card
This would be ideal for a childs birthday and I will be playing some more with these lovely water colours ... and doing some videos too.
Don't forget to add your name to the Seasons Giving Blog list if you would like to win some "Goodies"
More Tomorrow ...

You've done such a wonderful job coloring this card! It's nearly unbelievable that you did this primarily with water colors. I think any child and most parents would love to receive this card. I'm looking forward to seeing a video on how you did the water colors. Especially the details on a small image.
ReplyDeleteThank you for all you share each year. I hope 2016 brings you much success and reward for work well done. God bless you and yours.

Good Morning Christina :) Ohhhhhhh........ I just LOVE this!!!!! I don't think it can get any more precious!!! You did such a fab job with the coloring and I also LOVE the fact that you altered it by adding the stripes on the shirt and free handing the fence. Christina.... that's quite AWESOME!! Thank you so much for sharing. I can think about this sweet little art piece now while I'm doing my ironing..... I know.... I know..... Big Hugs!! :)
ReplyDeletereally cute card Christina. love it xx
ReplyDeleteMorning, Christina,
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card, the bunny is so cute. The more I see you use the Gansai Tambi watercolours, the more I think that I really do need to make that my next craft purchase. I have a couple of sets on my Amazon wish list and I'm leaning towards the middle size set rather than the small one as it's not that much more expensive to get the extra colours...then I need to stock up on some decent watercolour card and take a deep breath and have a go :). I'm looking forward to seeing more of your watercolour creations as you inspire me to try :)

Hi Christina
ReplyDeleteLove this card. Nice to see some cards aimed at children, and water colouring the background adds something I wouldn't have thought of doing with the animal stamp, but it really works. Will definitely be giving it a try.
