Water Colour Wednesday - Flowers

Hi Everybody,

Everything about this card is hand done ... no stamps, no stencils, no tracing ... all right out of my head !!

I used Water colour paints and lots of water to get the look for the flowers and then once it was done something was missing.

So in I went again and painted in the fence behind the flowers and then I was happier with it.

It is a lot easier to do than you might think so you don't need to be able to draw or even paint.

All you need is the courage to put the paint on the paper in the first place, and if you don't like it nothing is lost.

It's only paint and paper and some water ...  but you will gain a whole lot if you just try it in the first place, especially confidence if you like what you have produced

It's being scared and lacking that confidence that stops us doing lots of things but we need to take the plunge and try.

More tomorrow ...

Hugs xx

  21. Wow, this is gorgeous. You are so talented. There is no way I could do this without the help of a few stamps. Well done.

  22. My first thought was... There is a stamp like that?
Then I read on. Beautiful watercolour, I like it better than a stamp because it is looser.
I love the composition it is very pleasing to the eye.
    Another special eye candy
