Hello Everyone,
Thank you all for your well wishes on my recent operation and here I am feeling a little sorry for myself once I came home.
But my mum has been pampering me and that is lovely and she made this BabyGro to fit me so that I can't bite at my wound.
She cut the legs shorter at the back of a baby's sleep suit so that I can still do what I need to do but it covers my tummy and keeps it clean .... clever eh??
I am not allowed to run around or jump so my mum is carrying me up and down stairs at present as I want to be with her all the time.
I am not allowed to go to my doggy day care just yet or play with my best friend Dougal until I am a little stronger.
But Vickie came to visit me and I was soooo pleased to see her. I kissed her all over her face and ears and made her laugh.
Here I am relaxing with my mums favorite magazine but I have to admit though that I am getting a little bored now and need to go out and play.
I especially want to see Dougal as I have really missed him and we have such fun together.
I will be back to my old self again soon and then I will share more of my adventures with you
Bye for now xx
Oh Ruby poor you but you will be better soon and back with Dougal out running around and causing more mayhem.

Hi Ruby glad to hear that "mum" is looking after you but I wouldn't have expected anything different from her! Mums are like that. It won't be too long before you're feeling better and be able to visit with Dougal again and get into mischief.

Hi Ruby so glad you are on the mend and nearly ready to get back to adventure and mischief with your best mate, and your mum is very clever making a suit to fit all your needs, till next time be good, your fan Kaye

oh my, your little suit is cute. it beats the heck out of the "cone of shame" I dare say that what you have is way more comfortable. your looking good. I didn't think you were old enough for that yet but you sure are growing up fast. have fun with Dougal.
ReplyDeleteOhhhhh Good Morning Miss Ruby, you precious soul. I know exactly how you feel. I got spayed when I was 30. I felt just like you do. I even wore a big long t-shirt, just like yours. That was just Brilliant of Mum to help you out like that. I'm so happy to read you are doing better and are up and around a little bit. I know that first day, you were probably groggy and in a stupor from the anesthesia and then trying to figure out why you weren't feeling so hot. But all is well now and you'll be playing soon. Love your new glasses. They are so becoming. Well, Little One, I'll let you get back to your reading. Enjoy your Day. Be Well. Big hugs.
ReplyDeleteAaaaah bless little Ruby, you will be up and about again soon and playing with your best friend....it will all be in the past....luv Ursula xx
ReplyDeletePoor Ruby
ReplyDeleteShe does look sorry for herself but each day will see her progressing
Love the 'doggy-suit'

Hello Ruby, I'm pleased to hear that your op is behind you and you are on the mend. Of course you're getting bored by now, but if you take care you will be back out with your friends soon.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great job your mum's done with the babygro, it's kept you nice and safe, great to hear your news, Kate x
awww poor baby, the things us girls have to go through...but don't you worry soon you won't even remember about this silly ole operation...you'll be running and jumping all around with your best pal...take care Ruby, and get well fast so that we can all hear about your new adventures...Ann in Canada
ReplyDeleteOh Ruby what a great Mom you have, getting you a little outfit and helping you up and down the stairs. Glad to see you have reading glasses and can see what all is in your Mom's favourite magazine. Get well soon, hugs from Canada. Dianne
ReplyDelete6oh Ruby, you look so sweet in your babygro, how lucky you are to have a crafty mum to fix it up for you. I know you'll soon be feeling back to normal once again. I remember when my baby girl had her operation, things were a bit hairy during the procedure, but she bounced back within a week so I know you'll soon be running up the stairs again really soon.

Rby, So glad to hear your operation went well. Yes mm was quie clever n making your cover-up. you look adorable rading the magazine. tiill next time...
ReplyDeleteHappy to hear you are feeling better each day. A good time for your recovery Ruby- you certainly wouldn't have wanted to have been out walking in all the storms over the last few days! Take care and love to both you and your mum. xx
ReplyDeleteAww, poor little Ruby, she does look so pitiful in that first picture. It is amazing how quickly animals can recover from surgeries like that, though. I have cats and am constantly amazed at how quickly they recover from things that would take me weeks. I'm glad Miss Ruby has her mom to care for her while she does heal, though. I hope she'll be able to be with her best bud soon.
ReplyDeleteOh Ruby, you make me laugh.....my daughter says you feel sorry for yourself, cause you are dressed in "Baby"s clothing....Mum should have told you it's special for Ruby clothes...HaHa, you sure do look sad! I am sure you will be able to go out and play with Dougal very soon! And yes, I know just sitting there reading Mum's magazines is no fun! Get Well Soon! Toni
ReplyDeleteLovely photos Christina. Love Ruby's little 'outfit'. Wish I'd thought of that when my dogs have had operations. X
ReplyDeleteHi Ruby,
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you are feeling better. Love the coat your Mum made for you.You looked so sad in the first photo.
Hello Ruby! I'm sorry I missed this post earlier. I hope you are feeling better but must say you look adorable in your BabyGo. I know an operation of any kind is not fun but hope the next few days see you running around with Dougal again and going for long walks on the beach. I laughed at how cute you look wearing your Mum's glasses and reading her magazine. Be good for your Mum and get well soon!
ReplyDeleteYour friend,
Sandi
