May is now with us and the days are getting warmer and this months Papercraft Essentials 146 will be in the shops today.
The free gift is Floral Wishes and consists of an embossing folder, stamp set and three small dies
On this card I have created a background with the flowers and leaves and enclosed them in an oval frame
This idea and others can be seen on the video Papercraft Essentials 146 - Floral Wishes
This is the card created in the video with a bow background in bright colours
Very easy to do and relaxing at the same time. Card making should be fun and this free gift will help you to enjoy the process.
The magazine itself is full of useful information and ideas on getting the look that you want.
There are lots more photos of cards created with the free gift so you will never be stuck for ways to use it
So get a cuppa and enjoy the read.
More tomorrow ...
Hugs xx
Love the video and the cards are beautiful. So many ideas to try. I like the idea of using coloured pencils to accentuate the bows. You are so inspirational.

Two beautiful cards Christina. Lovely free gifts with the magazine. Xx
ReplyDeleteMany thanks Christina for more great cards. Love all the tips I gain from watching your videos. The one about 'the magic triangle' for placement of stamps was a great eye opener for me, thank you.
ReplyDeleteYou use lots of lovely paper flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts that look great. I have bought flowers from them (service is fantastic) but the order sits at home in their box and no matter how often I get them out to try to put an arrangement on a card, it looks poor and they go back in the box.
PLEASE Christina, I know it's asking an awful lot, but could you say or list which flowers you use on your cards. I seem to have bought a poor selection of flowers/colours and think that is why I cannot get them to look right. of course, it could be my lack of artistic ability :-)
Many thanks for all your work and sharing.
In the Tuesday Tutorials I have now started to list the flowers that I use on the featured card. But do you know that I have tutorials that can help you when adding flowers on to your cards. If you would like me to do another one then I will happily do one for you .... just say the word Cxx
