Hello Everyone,
It's me Ruby and I just wanted to wish you all a Happy New Year for 2020.
I am wearing my new Christmas sweater here and it keeps me really cozy when I go out.
My mum was mad at me the other day when we went for a walk because I decided to go for an unexpected swim in ... my new sweater.
The water wasn't the cleanest and I came out covered in mud and ... my new sweater
And I didn't smell the nicest either ... nor did ... my new sweater.
My mum was not best pleased with me but I, and my sweater, scrubbed up well, so nothing was lost in the end. She said the water was that dirty when she bathed me it was like mud soup and it took ages to get me clean again.
But after my mum had given me a nice warm bath, dried me with the hair dryer and I had eaten my dinner I got the biggest cuddle while we sat on the sofa and I fell asleep on my mums lap.

Am giggling at this cute Ruby story and can sympathise with the situation as I too have a muddy spaniel, but he does not have a lovely sweater like Ruby's. Best wishes for 2020 to both Ruby and her Mum!

ReplyDeleteAhhhh Dear Miss Ruby ~ it just wouldn't have been a Happy New Year without hearing from you! I love your New Sweater/Jumper (Re-reading Harry Potter for the umpteenth time) Miss Ruby please promise you will be careful and more discerning as to which pond you take a dip in. You're a Big Girl now and Mum can't guide you as quick as before. You may come across a pond that might have some nastiness to it and we would never want you to get sick from it. That would scare all of us and we would be very sad. I'm so glad you ended your day with a good cuddle with your Mum. I have my little Angel Baby next to me right now. I want to wish you and your Mum a very Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year. Perhaps we can talk Mum into giving you an extra treat every now and then. As always, you made my day Little One.
