There are so many people who deserve our thanks at the moment and it is impossible to thank every one of them.
But I have been busy making some little cards that I can give to the postman, milkman, refuse collectors and the delivery drivers who bring packages to my door.
All these people are still working hard for all of us and so I batch made lots of these and will hand them out as the person arrives.
They were quick and easy to do and all I need to do is write a little personal message inside and then pop them in an envelope.

ReplyDeleteThey so very pretty, i total agree with you we need to give thanks to the people who are put in harms way my working to give us a sense of normality . I have been doing the same and they so much appreciated it, the gas guy who deliver the gas bottle was so astound he could not thank me enough for my appreciation of what they do. Maureen

I agree, there are so many people who do their job and keep us safe.But people are so scared here to accept even a card and I don't blame them.
ReplyDeleteThey are happy when they see that most of us follow the rules and keep the right distance. And if you add a smile, they really feel that you appreciate what they do - that was shared by a lady from a grocery store some time ago.

ReplyDeleteI always carry Thank You cards in my purse cause I never know when I may need one.
I always make it a point to give a Thank You card with tip money inside to our waitress when we go out to eat. I never leave cash on the table, it's always handed to the waitress.
