Winner

 Hi Everybody,

What a week this has been .... not only do my legs and my hips not work as they should but to top it all on Monday my TV stopped functioning correctly too. Then Tuesday Sky locked me out of my Blog and I couldn’t  access it at all and then Wednesday my phone had a wobbler too.

Now have you ever tired to get hold of Sky ??  It’s a nightmare believe me and you spend most of the time going round in circles and the rest of it on hold. They must be the worst customer service I have ever dealt with.

Eventually I got to speak to some one. But I had to spend almost three hours on the phone to Sky to try and sort out my problem and although they rang me they charged me £50 for the call.

The outcome of all this is that I had to have a new aerial for the TV, my blog got sorted ... at a cost,  and my phone is very sick so I had to have a new one. Boy am I glad this week is done with.

Still the draw for the prize from Friday has been done and the winner this week is

Debbie Chantry

Would you email me your postal address please to

christina@card-making-magic.com

and it will be on its way to you. Please let me know when you have it safely and I hope you enjoy playing with it.

More tomorrow ...

Hugs xx

  1. Oh Christina, you poor thing. I really feel for you having all the dramas this past week. Just what you don't need when you are still having difficulties with your hip and knee. I too have had problems with "Customer Service" recently, no concept of Melbourne virus lockdown. In total frustration, I broke down in tears.... suddenly a Supervisor came on the phone and surprise, the problem got fixed.
I do hope all is fixed for you now, sending healing and positive thoughts. Sharing your talents bring some much joy to so many. Thank you

  6. Oh Christina what a week that was on top of all this that is all you need. That is disgraceful how sky have treated you. I hope you can get your £50 back from customer services or can you email them. I am so sorry about your legs and your hips not working as they should, my sister is waiting for a second hip replacement she had the first one done last Christmas but she doesn’t know how long she will have to wait. Well done Debbie you have won a lovely gift. Stay safe, and stay well Christina. Love Anne Owens xx

  7. Well done Debbie and hopefully both you and things can only get better! Fingers crossed for that one . We changed from Skye to Virgin as they are certainly a nightmare. How can they charge you for their phone call? Problems with Virgin are much the same as they show most Skye programs anyway. Guess we cant win!! Keep smiling xx

  9. It never rains but it pours Christina, awful how all these things compound into one and give you a massive headache, so much to deal with all at once...hopefully all sorted soon, as you say, at a terrific cost, that is what life is like today, money money money....Keep your chin up girl, we love you....luv Ursula xx

  10. Hello Christina,
And to make matters even worse I've suddenly found I can access your blog again, although I've no idea why I couldn't get you before!! I'm sorry you've had so much trouble and charging you £50 for the phone call is disgraceful. Never mind this week, I know we'll all be glad to see the back of this year.
Congratulations to Debbie, this set is great.

  11. Oh my, thank you so much. This has cheered me know end as I've just had to have a Covid-19 test and I've got to isolate until the results are in. This will keep me so busy. You are so kind Christina to do this every week. Thank you again. Debbie x

  12. Congratulations Debbie.
What an awful week for you Christina, I can't believe they charged you all that for a phone call, AWFUL customer service. At least you have shamed them here, perhaps telling them you would do put it on your blog would have halved the cost?
I hope next week is better for you.

  14. Hi Christina
So sorry to hear that you have had a terrible week on top of everything else you are coping with at the moment as well. Here's hoping the coming week will be an improvement for you. My son has sky and customer service is abominable. Is there no way you will be able to claim back the £50 because if they phoned you I don't see how you should be responsible for the cost. Sending you a big hug. Congratulations to you Debbie on your marvellous win
    Hugs and best wishes

  15. Hi Christina,oh what a horrid time you have. So wish your pain away but this week has been dreadful pain wise so can only hope it is better tomorrow but winter time is usually the worth. If you ever have to call Sky again then press the button for leaving them and they soon will pick up ! Take care xx

  18. Hi Christina,
Hope that this week has been better than the last one ~ surely it would be difficult not to be?!!
I love to be by the sea but haven’t managed it since January due to Lockdowns and self isolation so this would be just perfect!
Stay safe and well. Big hugs for you and Ruby.
