This was a card I made some time ago and I have to say it is one of my favourites.
I love the flowers and the tiny organza butterflies as well as the colour scheme and the diamante.
I used the Alphabet set from my own dies and I covered them with Glossy Accents and a little shake of glitter.
I don't have a mum to send this too but I would be very happy if someone sent something like this to me
The Distress Oxides that i used are Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch and Mermaid Lagoon.
They always make a beautiful blend whenever I use them and Distress Oxides blend so easily too
You can just amke out the spattered effect that I did with water onto the background and this just lifts a little bit of colour from the inks
More tomorrow ...
Hugs xx
I love the card Christina, it's reminded me I have some of those little butterflies-somewhere! Karen Holmes

I'm sure I can go to Craft Stash and find them there, but I assume the reason you have the links is to make it easier for us to find the products.
Bless you
Chris
I remember those little butterflies but mine are pink, if I have any left. Very prestty card.
ReplyDeleteHi Christina
ReplyDeleteI love this card and the colour scheme is beautiful. I don't seem to get on with the oxides- I prefer just ordinary distress inks

It’s a very lovely card that I would love to send my Mom if she was still with us or receive from my children. It’ll be 2 years since my Mom passed in Feb. It seems like yesterday. I love the beautiful flowers and the large alphabet letters you used from your collection. .
