Hi Everybody,
It's blowing a gale here so I am glad to be at home. Ruby has gone back to Doggy Day Care this week and she will get to play with all her friends. I always say she is going to Playschool and she knows exactly what I mean when I say that to her. She loves going and they all go out for a walk come rain or shine. Unlike me who is only a fair weather walker !!
Todays card is a very simple take on the pop up card and for this I have used the Alphabet Upper and Lower case dies ... plus the Overlays for the Upper case. The leaves have been coloured with Distress Oxide Inks and blending brushes for a faded look and they have been intertwined with the letters.
I used the Rambling Rose stencil to create the background and added gemstones for berries on some of the leaves.
Imagine this style of card done with peoples names added for a table setting at a dinner party. That would be a novel way to welcome your guests and is not hard to create.
More tomorrow ...
Hugs xx

ReplyDeleteHello Christina,
ReplyDeleteA brilliant idea and a gorgeous card which could be made into full size. It's freezing cold with a North East wind here. Brr, stay in and keep warm now that Ruby is at Playschool!

Morning Christina. Beautiful . I love those letters I really must invest in another set. The one I have is that you have to cut the whole alphabet to get just one letter, very frustrating as you have have tons of letters spare that don't match. But these are lovely. Thankyou Christina. Sending hugs and best wishes to everyone who needs them today.
ReplyDeletePLEASE STAY EXTRA SAFE EVERYONE 🙏 🙏 🙏
Kind regards Ann Toppcards Leeds.
