I had these new embossing folders from Altenew to play with last week and they are lovely.
They are 3-D which makes the embossing so deep in the card, and with this impression I decided to simply ink over the top very lightly.
This left the two shades of ink that I used sitting on top of the raised areas to give a lovely effect.
I added some black splatters to the frons as well and added some green sequins.
The sentiment is cut from black mirror card and I have use the Creative Expressions dies that has lots of words in it so that you can build up your own greeting.
I bought several of the 3-D folders and I have lots more cards that I will add over the week to show you what I have been playing with.
More tomorrow ...
Hugs xx
Embossing folders are my weakness Christina. Karen Holmes
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely Christina. I am so glad you are recovering and I love that Ruby thinks everyone who comes to your door is a visitor and more important, walking partner for her. I know my Greta loves the mail man here. Our postal workers are not permitted to offer treats but our workaround is I hand him a treat to give to Greta... Now I am not saying my Greta isn't very bright, but she "sees" me hand him the treat; he in turn gives her the treat and she truly believes "he" gave her her treat. I don't need a video camera to know when the mailman is approaching; Greta lets me know in an instant. Continue your recovery and I pray your hip self-heals (hey we have self-healing mats for crafting, why not hips?) tee hee hee. All my best..
