Parchment Flowers

Hi Everybody,

I have gone back to vellum/parchment for todays flowers and this is a video and card I did a long time ago but I thought it was a good idea to play it again.

Because it is an older video it shows dies from the original "Christina Collection" that I designed years ago but you may have bought the set or maybe just some of it.

If you do then you can make these beautiful parchment flowers but if you don't then just use any floral die and stamps set that you do have.

The card in the video has leaves that are created from Acetate and that is another way to add interest to your designs.

You will need heat proof acetate though or it will shrivel as you heat emboss the powder

Give it a go the effect is really lovely and will suit many different occasions.

Bye for now ...

Hugs xx

  1. Good Morning Christina. WOW what a lovely card. I love using vellum for my flowers, and ... quite few years ago I was lucky enough to be given quite a lot from a company that makes wedding albums that was closing down. I still have lots left and it really is good quality. I love how you have done the leaves too ... never thought of using acetate. I really must give this a go. Thankyou Christina. Sending hugs 🤗 and best wishes to everyone. Please stay safe and well 🙏. Kind regards Ann Toppcards in Leeds.

  3. Hi Christina. I've been camping with my grandkids for a couple of weeks. I'm back. The first thing I get to see is this gorgeous card. These are my favorite ones you've made. Have a great week. Hope it's not too warm. Take care and stay safe. Vicki L Phillips.

  8. I always fond of vellum flowers, they added extra charm to the texture. The card is beautiful and this just inspire me to make a wedding card for my friend's son's wedding this coming September.
