Hi Everybody,
No card today as at present I have a bit of a problem.
I had cataract surgery on both eyes about two years ago and everything has been fine until a few weeks ago. I was out walking the dogs with Vickie and I asked her if everything looked cloudy to her and she said "No"
For me it was like looking through a dirty window and even though I cleaned my glasses things still stayed cloudy and misty.
So last week I went to my optician and had my eyes tested and told him my problem.
Apparently it is quite common for cataract patients to experience this. It can happen after a few weeks or years and for some it never occurs. It has some fancy name that I cannot remember but it an be remedied easily with laser treatments.
So guess what I will be having !!!
I am witing for them to send me an appointment and then I will be able to see properly again.
My apologies for any typos in my blog posts but It is very awkward at present/
I do however have a video coming to you tomorrow staying with the Making Flowers theme so I hope you enjoy that and I will let you know how I go on with my eyesight. Wish me luck ....
Bye for now ...
Hugs xx.
Morning - I certainly do wish you luck and hope you get sorted soon - we could have some very odd looking flowers if not!!! Janet Boyne

ReplyDeleteI am sorry to hear about your eye problem. I can imagine how scary it had to be to realize your eyesight wasn’t right. I hope the laser surgery is successful! I have to have cataract surgery soon but no one has ever mentioned that this can happen after the surgery. I don’t anticipate any problems but I appreciate that you shared your experience so if it should happen to me a year or two after my cataract surgery, I will be much less anxious because you shared. Thank you.

So sorry to hear you having this issue, I know others who've had to have the laser surgery as well and they were very happy with the results. Whatever you choose to do, hope everything goes well and you're able to see your fur babies and everyone in your life as 'clear as a bell'... a clear bell I think. Hugs!
