Todays video is using the ribbon in another way to create small flowers for your cards, and that of course depends on the width of ribbon that you use.
I have used a wired ribbon for mine but you don't have to use that type. It is just some that I already have and it was really cheap in the bargain bucket at B&M
The roses re really easy to make and they will fit neicely onto a card front. But they will need boxes to send them as the flowers are quite deep.
The video is not long but it will give you another string to your bow when it comes to alternative materials to create flowers.
I have made this one to an A5 size and used the Complete Card & Box Die Set to make it, and the frames that I have added to the inside and front of the design.
It has taken me hours to do this one video because of my vision so I will try and do another for next week.
But I now have my Laser Appointment for the 26th and so I am hoping that everything will be more or less back to clear vison again then.and get rid of the mist that is permanently clogging up my eyes.
Bye for now ...
Hugs xx

Beautiful card and wonderful video.

ReplyDeleteHi Christina. Good to hear about your eye appointment. Watched the video and I think that's a flower I can make. So pretty. Take care and stay safe. Vicki L Phillips.
ReplyDeleteThis is very pretty! I expect you will be counting down the days - 15 to go!!!

Such pretty ribbon, great idea for that thicker size ribbon. I like the trellis die you used behind it too!
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Christina and all that visit today. What a great way to make flowers and if course you make it look so easy. I never thought about folding the wires ribbon ... But I will have a try at this technique. All your hand made flowers have been beautiful to watch. As soon as this pot comes off my arm I am hoping to get back in my craft room. I can manage a little each day but I feel very restricted to what I can do. Thankyou Christina. Sending hugs 🤗and best wishes to everyone. Please stay safe and well. ReplyDeleteA stunning card with the most beautiful flowers made with ribbons. Great technique that I will have a go at tomorrow. I have the box dies but hardly used them because sending a lot of cards abroad so have to think of the p/p. Hope you and four paws are okay x
