Hi Everybody,
Just a quick line to tell you where I am up to with my vision.
At present it is too stressful to try and keep the blog up to date as I cannot see the keyboards properly. Or the screen as everything is cloudy. It is like looking through dirty windows and everything is shrouded in a mist.
It is so frustrating and I make so many mistakes that it rakes me hours to type anything. So rather than put myself though this stress I am taking time off until my laser treatment which is scheduled for the 26th June.
Once that is done I am hoping to be back to normal again and can get back to filming and making cards. Myyoungest daughter has been so helpful and has done things like reading my mail to aas I cannot see the words that are written on the paper.
Thank you for you concern and please be patient with me until I am back to normal again
Bye for now ….
Christina xx
Wishing you all the best with your eyes treatment.
ReplyDeleteTake care of yourself first and we will still be here when you come back.

Sorry you are finding life difficult at the moment.Understand that you need to take time out. Once you get the laser done you won’t believe the difference. The good thing is you don’t have to use drops afterwards. Take care . Look forward to hearing from you when things are back to normal. Joyce x

Hi Christina, I know exactly what you are talking about. I was born with a cataract in one eye and never able to see through it, but just had to life with it, couldn't see anything in colour and had halos round everything. Then about 15 years ago developed cateract in other eye, which meant I couldn't see. Things didn't go well after op, and cloudiness was still there, so then went to eye infirmary, explained what was happening and got my laser treatment 30mins later. I still have problems with floaters but can see without any cloudiness. Other eye nothing can be done. Hope your laser treatment works, you'll know the difference getting cataracts removed can do, this is just same. Be thinking about you on 26th. Mags xxx
