I could have sworn that I scheduled this post to go live this morning ... but clearly not. So better late than never, here it is.
I don't have a video for this flower but if you would like one then let me know and I will do one.
I have used some Guipure Lace to make this flower and added a lovely centrepiece that is from a bracelet that I have dismantled.
The background has been inked and then embossed in a folder and the pearls have been dotted around the flower.
I have added it to some large fern leaves and then adhered the sentiment on its parchment at the bottom of the card.
So there is my card and sorry it is late
Bye for now ...
Hugs xx
Hi Christina. Oh I remember these flowers well. My mum used to make many and
ReplyDeletethen sew them together as either flower pots underlags or put them in a sugarlag
and then leave them to dry hanging over a bowl so when they were dry they too was
shaped as a bowl. Only one problem , my younger sister and I used to suck the sugar
off 🙄 mum wasn't very pleased at all as you can understand, oh dear we got such a
smacked bottom. Your card is beautiful x
Another pretty card Christina, the lace flower is lovely. Joyce x
ReplyDeleteHi Christina. Well am I glad I came back this afternoon. I love this lace flower . I love anything lacy. That's why I love shabby chic . I have a box full of lace flowers that I made ages ago for my cards but I love them so much I can't bear to part with them . I know this is stupid but it's true. It's a beautiful card. Thankyou Christina. Sending hugs 🤗 and best wishes to everyone. Please stay safe and well 🙏. Kind regards Ann Toppcards in Leeds
