This card is created from a really delicate shade of duck egg blue and the card itself is silver foiled and very pretty. It was added to Etsy but sold almost immediately.
The foiled card is from Cardcraft Plus which is based in Preston UK ... Many of you may know the shop as Inspirations and it has all manner of goodies in there.
The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I have added in my lovely glitter from Glitter magic to the petals
Some of you have written to me to tell me that you too have tried this glitter ... on my recommendation ... and that you are delighted with it.
The sentiment is from JustRite Stampers and is one that can be mixed and matched with all the words in the set. The link will take you to have a look at what is on the stamp set ..... BUT ... you can get it cheaper from more local places.
I bought mine at the craft shows I go to and I have had it for some time now and it is very useful.
The Tattered Lace die in the background is Double Delights and is the one that was free with the second issue of their magazine.
Now before I close for today I have to ask you all something ... I have had emails from several people and it has been suggested that maybe I could give away one of my cards each week in exchange for a comment from you.
I would draw one name from those that have left a comment and the winner would get the card on offer.
What do you think of the idea and would you be interested if I did it as say a ... Friday Freebie ???
Please give it some thought and let me know please ... via a comment
More tomorrow ...
Hugs xx

Wow would love that but i can imagine that it cost you a lot: you have followers all over the world. So maybe once a month ( beg beg) :) Cant tell you how much you inspire me. I start my day with you and treat myself to look at 1 ( at least) tutorial. Have a sunny day x
ReplyDeleteGood morning Christina,
ReplyDeleteI am not surprised that this card sold so quickly as it is a stunner, but it is what we have come to expect from your talented hands. The chance of winning a Christina Original would be fantastic, but the people that come to your website come to see your next wonderful creation. I would like to think that it might bring your creativeness to the eyes of a bigger audience as it deserves to shine amongst a wider field. I hope that if you did take this plunge that it will bring the attention that your talent richly deserves.
Love and crafty hugs
Norah (Glenochil)

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card and I love the foiled card that you used as a background on this one Christina, there is so much work has gone into this card Christina and I just love it. I really like the idea of a 'freebie' giveaway of one of your cards on a 'Freebie Friday', I think this is such a great idea, and it would give someone the chance to see one of your cards up close and personal. ReplyDeleteGorgeous Christina!!!! I love blue and silver, one of my favorite combos..you really put this card together beautifully and I can see why it sold near right away and yes Friday Freebie sounds fabulous, who wouldn't want a card from one of the best card designers in the world!!! Don't have to think about that one! xxx

ReplyDeleteI think that would be a wonderful idea Christina, I know I'd love to receive one of your lovely cards ~ your work is awesome!
ReplyDeleteHi Christina
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful card the colours are lovely and I do so love the flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. I have a question, how do you store all your flowers no doubt you will have a very organised method I cannot decide on the best way I keep changing mine around but they never seem correct!
What a very generous thought for a freebie Friday if you go ahead I wholeheartedly agree with what Norah has to say. When you have your monthly give away hundreds of people visit but not enough people leave you a regular message. Could I make a small request, please do sign your giveaway cards as they will mean so much more to the lucky winners I am sure.
Thank you for all your wonderful inspiration, help and generosity.
Margaret xx
Hi Christine,
ReplyDeleteNot surprised this sold quickly it's stunning. As for a givaway that would be very nice but it may be very costly for you if the winner was overseas.

Actually without seeing what you are doing, many of us would never try some things, so Thankyou !!
ReplyDeleteHi Christina, another wonderful idea - I would treasure a Friday Card. I visit you each morning for my inspiration for the day. Just don't leave a note every visit, but have not found a card of yours I did not love. MaryJean Smith

ReplyDeleteHi Christina,
ReplyDeleteAs your fan base always check your blog for ideas, and to view your wonderful cards, even if we don't always leave a comment, of course we would be delighted to win one. Even one a month would be lovely to save your costs.
You do know that you will be swamped with comments now, don't you.
Oh, yes, and todays card is very much your style, no wonder it sold so quickly.
Cheers, Janice W

ReplyDeleteYour cards are always beautiful Christine, I would cherish a card with your style. I don't always comment because of the time is limited for me, however I save them in my file because I don't want to miss one. You are such an inspiration to me.

Hi Christina, this card i s beautiful, I'm not surprised it sold so fast you make such pretty cards. Hope the "freebie Friday". takes off as the idea of winning one is a big thrill.
ReplyDeleteHi Christina... OH MY GOSH... I would be SO honored to win a card made by you... I love each and everything that you create and they so beautiful to me. 'Beautiful' is merely just a word that I can use, but truly no words can describe the wonder of your cards... I would LOVE to win one of your cards and I'm going to keep my fingers crossed for this...
ReplyDeleteHugs, Madushika
I do wish you would visit me on Facebook and see the cards that I have made...

I love all of your cards and learn so much from your videos. Thank you so much!!
ReplyDeleteChristina, I think that would be quite an undertaking for you not counting on the expense. Having said that, I would more than happy to receive any one of your cards. I just think that with all you do now, why put that extra work on yourself.
ReplyDeleteChristine, as always, your card is stunning, as are all your cards. How long does it take you to make them, I just love all that bling. I think your idea of a Friday Freebie is great, would love one of your cards....your inspiration is most valuable....luv Ursula x
ReplyDeleteI love your cards and your website and blog have given me new drive over the last few months to get back into card making. A give away of a card every Friday is a wonderful idea.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous card in my favourite colours! I would love to win a card on Friday Freebie but you already give so much to your fans you are so generous I hope you get something back for it! Xx
ReplyDeleteOh so beautiful is your card x
ReplyDeleteYou are so generous with your time and talent to provide us with inspiration each day! Anyone would be thrilled, I am sure, to have one of your creations. Thank you for all the fun that you bring to our hobby. BethAnn M.
ReplyDeleteI love your cards and would very much love to have one that you made. you make some of the most wonderful cards I have ever seen and I do try to make them. love your you tube videos
ReplyDeleteHi Christina, another wonderful card and well in line with your usual superb standards. You are such a generous person by giving us tuition with all your very informative videos and being so willing to answer all our questions. What can I say - a giveaway would be great but I tend to agree with some of the other ladies that a monthly one would be good enough as doing one every week would be quite costly for you. I've never been very lucky but would certainly love to win one of your cards.
ReplyDeleteTake care & best wishes
Jenny C xx
Hi Christina, what great idea, I would be thrilled to have one of your beautiful creations... as for wining it... well, I couldn't win a cold, but you have to be in it to win as they say. once a month sounds great, you being the busy girl you are, its really good of you to take the time.. love and light....Hazel
ReplyDeleteChristina, I would LOVE an opportunity to win one of your cards!! "Freebie Friday" would be an awesome addition to your blog!
ReplyDeleteHi Christina...another beautiful creation! I think that the ones that have suggested this giveaway may have seen the cards that Sue Wilson gives away on Wednesdays on her particraft blog. Her cards don't have the embellishments and bling of your creations and so I agree with several other commenters that perhaps a monthly giveaway would be less taxing financially for you. I would dearly love to win one of your creations but I also feel that you have done more than enough with sharing your tutorials and answering all our questions. I either start my day or end my day with your blog and look forward to all your inspirational creations.
ReplyDeleteJoanne from Canada
I think its a bit too much to ask. Your cards are so intricate and you have spent a long time building up your business so you can sell them. Personally, I would stick to the other prize packs ('cause I love to make cards myself) Cheers!
ReplyDeletehoi christine
ReplyDeletewat een prachtige kaart. zoals iederdag kijk ik naar je site.En verwonder mij dat je zoveel inspiratie hebt, dank je wel voor al het moois dat je laat zien.groetjes janny
Beautiful card!
ReplyDeleteSuch a wonderfully generous idea..... but it's going to cost you a fortune shipping to all of your overseas fans. Once a month is more than generous.... if the only reason we are posting comments is to get a prize shame on us! I make cards and you have inspired me so much that that in itself is a prize - don"t sell yourself short for a few greedy folk!! Rant over lol
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card! I love the foil background.
ReplyDeleteYour card is lovely, and that would be so generous of you to give away one of your creations :)
ReplyDeleteHi Christina What a lovely idea for a Friday Freebie. Your cards inspiring as well as beautiful Beryl
