Another of the promised videos using the Create a Flower dies from Spellbinders ... and these were shown at the beginning of this month on Create and Craft by your truly!!
This is the Rose that was created in this tutorial and I really like the way this card has turned out.
The background is deeply embossed with the 3-D folder called Delightful Daisies .. I just added the Rose over the Daisy instead !
The card is created in the Hinged Card Style which is most definitely my favorite way to make cards
The pearl flourish is from Want2Scrap which is always a special touch to any card for me
Use your pastels, inks, pens or pencils to make the Rose any color that you would like and add it to any of your projects.
You don't need to add the glitter but I like the effect that it gives to the petals.
The one I use is Cheltenham from Glitter Magic as it is really fine and matches well with any color card that you have used.
More tomorrow ...

I love and use the Rose Die a lot. It was hard to understand the instructions on the packaging for anyone who did not make flowers. Your tutorial will certainly be very welcome.

Enjoyed your video thanks so much. The cards are absolutely beautiful. I think I like the pink one the best more eye catching all though the flower shows off the background on the yellow card.
ReplyDeleteI love this one, Christina, especially the pink rose you made. I'm thinking that this die has gone tot he top of my list...for the time being. Although there are so many pieces to make each flower, you break it all down for us and show us that there's nothing to be scared of when we first get the dies. x
ReplyDeleteOh so pretty! I particularly like the design of the pink card but who would turn their nose at either one? You really have an elegant touch Christina.
