Hi Everybody,
This Birthday Card is for no particular person it's just one I made ... in case !!
I have water coloured the background and then used the Nesting Ovals to cut the shape.
It has been added to a stamped and embossed panel and surrounded with glittered flowers. The butterfly has been added to the corner and this has a top layer of parchment
The leaves are an assortment of dies that have been cut in green and added to the floral display.
The sequins are dotted about and they are iridescent to take on the colour of the card behind them.
Quite a pretty card and is now waiting for a recipient to send to
More tomorrow ...
Hugs xx

The butterfly that I have used here is from the Layered Butterflies Die Set from Card Making Magic but it has been out for quite some time now and I don't know if it is still available Cxx

My heart sings when I see a shabby chic cards. Those are my favourite ones.
ReplyDeleteChristina, another fabulous creation. I have been a long time admirer and never commented till recently. Your site, your creativity and recounting stories about Ruby has really made it feel I was reading letters from a good friend. Thank you for being an anchor of comfort during this pandemic. I don't think you realize how wonderful your blog is and how it is not just about crafting, but about how there is a person behind the blog with struggles like the rest of us. Thank you for staying authentic and for having the courage to reveal a bit of yourself to your admirers and for persevering when complete strangers think it is ok to attack people sight their negativity as the Internet keeps people anonymous. All the best, Arlene
ReplyDeleteStunning Christina so much detail and thought, I hope your antibiotics are starting to work. Love Anne Owens xx
ReplyDeleteI’m glad you are feeling enough better to feel like crafting. Your card is lovely and feels like Spring.
