Hello every one,
It's me today Ruby and I thought I would pop in and let you know how I am doing. I have been having some lovely walks with my mum in the sunshine and we have been going to different places.
The other day we went with Vickie and Dougal to Cuerden Park which is heaven for dogs.
I love it but Dougal is such a wimp he just stands on the rocks and watches.
Now the other day we went to somewhere that my mum calls the Stepping Stones in St Annes
We went early in the morning when it was cooler and I really enjoyed the walk.I especially liked it under the water fall where I tried to catch the water as it came tumbling down.
Because it was so early it was very quiet and not many people around but ...
... on the little lake I spotted something moving about.
I have never seen Ducks before, and as much as I wanted to go and swim with them I was very quiet.
Then later on we went home again and had some breakfast and I had some of my mums toast Mmmm!!
See you again soon
Love Ruby XX
Lovely to catch up with Ruby
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Ruby. What a fabulous adventure you have been having recently. You certainly look like you are enjoying yourself. What a lucky girl you are to have Christina looking after you ... And even sharing her breakfast with you. I am thinking I could come and live with you both ... But I would stay in your mum's craft space while she takes you out walking 😂😂. Thankyou Christina and Ruby. Sending hugs 🤗 and best wishes to everyone.
ReplyDeletePLEASE KEEP STAYING SAFE 🙏 🙏 🙏
Kind regards Ann Toppcards in Leeds.
Beautiful pix and lucky Ruby to have such lovely spots to go walkies. It sounds like Ruby's Mum is doing very well too, being able to walk over such terrain! Amazing how we Spaniel mothers never get to eat all of our toast with the last bite going to our wonderful companions.
ReplyDeleteLovely to catch up with Ruby's adventures. Pleased to hear you're now able to go on decent walks again Christina. xx
ReplyDeleteGorgeous picture's and what a beautiful place for you to go Ruby with your friend Dougal, you are very lucky to have such a wonderful Mum. I hope you enjoyed your toast, and I'm pleased to hear that your Mum is doing well. Take care both of you until next time ❤ Love Sue xx

ReplyDeleteThanks for your update Ruby. I'm glad you are out and about again and taking care of your Mum.
ReplyDeleteOh Ruby, what lovely walks you go on with your mum. In swimming, at Cuerden Park where you certainly look like you are enjoying yourself. And what a joy it must have been for you to see the mother duck and her ducklings. You did extremely well keeping quiet and not frightening them.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful site. It feels like a vacation site especially with the waterfall.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the summer.
I just love reading these updates from you Ruby and your Mum. Like my Greta Ruby sounds quite athletic and game for anything. I love that Ruby respected her friends (the Mum and ducklings) and did not interrupt their outing. Such a polite and lovely little girl. Poor Dougal; he's just a very cautious young fella and I hope he had a good a time as his friend Ruby. Thanks Christina for this adorable story. You should consider putting out a children's book featuring Dougal and Ruby. I think you have a knack for writing and I know kids everywhere would enjoy the stories.
ReplyDeleteA Beautiful story.
ReplyDeleteWell you were a very good girl Ruby and deserved some of your Mum's toast. It looks a love place to go for a walk and how lovely for you to see a duck family, it was so good you didn't bark, lovely to hear what you've been doing, Kate x
ReplyDeleteLove the updates for You and Ruby! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteHello Ruby
ReplyDeleteSo lovely to hear from you again. It sounds like you have been having a wonderful time going on all those long walks with your mum. I do hope you are being a good girl for her and not getting up to any mischief. Sounds like your mum is doing well with her knee being able to do long walks now which is good. Look after your mum and we will hopefully hear from you again soon
Hugs and cuddles

Hello Miss Ruby! So nice to hear from you. I'd say by the Beautiful pictures your Mum has posted, you truly have been to heaven and back! I'm so glad you have Dougal as a compadre for your adventures. I don't think he was being a "wimp". I think he was just looking out for you, in case you needed him. I'm so glad your Mum is able to go on wonderful walks and places with you again. I'm happy she has healed from her surgery. Well, Little One, thank you so much for the update. And please take good care of you and your Mum. Looking forward to hearing from you again in the future. Big Hugs. xo

Sounds like a wonderful time out, so nice to have great places to walk!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely time you have been having Ruby. Your mum takes you to some wonderful places for your walks, and sometimes with your friend Dougal. You were so good with the duck and her ducklings, it must have been exciting for you to have been able to see them. Glad your mum is progressing well, please look after her, we so love her craft pages.
ReplyDeleteCuddles and Love to you both from New Zealand.oxoxox
Hello Ruby! What wonderful adventures you’ve been having with Mum! I know you love your Mum because she takes you to places you haven’t seen before and you behave so well for her. I’m glad you had some fun with Dougal too and that you didn’t get upset with Dougal because he was fearful of swimming. Not everyone is as adventurous as you. I’m also glad you were so well behaved when you saw the family of ducks. It must have been exciting and I’m sure your instinct was to give chase so you should be proud of yourself for being a good dog! I’ve no doubt Mum was proud of you. I hope you continue to share your adventures. I don’t know too many pups who have as many online friends as you and I’m happy that I’m one of them. Please stay in touch and continue to be the good dog for Mum!
ReplyDeleteHugs from Arizona!
