Well the first thing I need to share is the name of the Friday Freebie winner and that is you
Margaret Corgi owner
You need to email me please ... christina@card-making-magic.com ... with your land address and the card will be on it's way to you. You have 48 hours to claim the card and I hope you will like it when it arrives.
But the second thing I needed to share will hopefully make you laugh.
I was upstairs in my craft room when the doorbell rang and I knew that Griff was downstairs and would answer the door.
I heard a commotion and then after a short while Griff came upstairs.
He told me that I had got a parcel but he would need a lift getting it up to my craft room.
He asked me "What on earth have you been buying coz you'll never fit it on a card" .... and this was the parcel.
I laughed my socks off ... it is huge and filled the doorway.
And no it's not for me ... it is a wardrobe for next door and the delivery man asked Griff if he would take it in until the neighbors came home.
Oh my .... never a dull moment with my hubby
More tomorrow ...
Hugs xx
First of all, a big congratulations to Margaret for winning such a beautiful card. Lucky girl!
ReplyDeleteChristina I laughed when I saw the pic of your husband with that huge "parcel". What a great sense of humour he has! Just a shame it wasn't full of spellbinders, flowers, ribbons and pearls. Thanks for sharing. Sue

ReplyDeleteHi Christina
ReplyDeleteYou did make me laugh with the wardrobe story. That's just the sort of joke mine would pull. Congratulations to Margaret for winning your card..
Good morning Christina,
ReplyDeleteFantastic news Margaret, i am so pleased for you and obviously so are the corgi's. I know you will enjoy Christina's mini masterpiece as they are even better in the flesh. Christina, i love your hubby's sense of humour but question - who is going to help him take it next door? I know i am more than willing to take in parcels for my neighbours as they are lucky enough to be working,, but i can honestly say i have never been asked to take in a parcel that big before. If the neighbours knew they were awaiting such a delivery, it might have been wiser to leave a key with you so that they could have it at least in their house, sorry thinking on my broken back and it is just screaming out HELP!!!!!!
Have a lovely weekend everyone,
Love and crafty hugs
Norah (Glenochil)
