I have had several emails asking me for links to articles when they are already on the page... so if you are new to Blogging then any words that are in another color are usually a link.
Hover your mouse over it and if it turns into a hand then click it and it will open another window and take you to the page for that item or article.
This is one of the images I colored with the Pale Hues six pen set
from Spectrum Noir.
I went on to make a video tutorial for Pale Skin using the same set and there are other videos using the other six pen sets.
It is one of the videos that got me noticed by Spectrum Noir and lead to me being an instructor for them and subsequently on the Design Team.
Now from there more exciting things have happened and I have been asked to do a workshop on these pens by
They are a UK based company in Sutton in Ashfield and I will be down there on September 13th
I know the numbers for the workshop are limited so if you live near there and are not in the class then just pop in and say hello.... it would be lovely to meet you.
So the image of this handsome man from Just Inklined was made into a card and the sentiment that I added for fun is from Lili of the Valley
More tomorrow ...

Hi Christina
ReplyDeleteLove today's card. I only use promarkers but I assume you can achieve the same effect with these. Thanks for sharing.
hi Christina, thanks for letting us know about the links. I am new to colouring images and have just ordered the pale skin tones set and was wondering if I would be able to achieve a fairly good result, now I shall check out your video and follow the process step by step. Thanks I will let you know how I get on once my pens arrive, Lyn xxx
ReplyDeleteChristina, congrats on doing your class. Wish I lived closer. I guess Australia is just too far to travel. That image is hilarious and the sentiment is perfect. Love it! Sue.

Congratulations on the new class you'll be instructing. The students will be quite fortunate to have you instruct them. Since I live in Phila., PA, USA, I can't "pop in", but I wish I could! BethAnn
ReplyDeleteGreat natural skin tones Christina. Wish I lived close enough to join in your class but will have to enjoy your tutorials instead. Pat x

Colouring is amazing Christina, wish I was close by to attend the demonstration....lovely card....luv Ursula xx
ReplyDeleteWould love to get the stamp of that man, can you please let us know where you got it, or who makes it? It's hard to find things for a masculine card and this is great for that. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't want to meet him on a dark night!!. Colouring is not a favourite for me, but I know practice makes better, so when I have time from doing other crafting techniques I will get out my stamps and keep at it. Diana
ReplyDeleteHi Christina
ReplyDeleteI love today's card I wish I could colour like you, I've spent a fortune on Promarkers so I will have to wait until they need renewing before buying the Spectrum Noir pens.congratulations on your class

Hi Christina, the card is gorgeous as always. I've tried clicking the link in the post for JGD Crafts three times and each time I do, it takes me to my Blogger dashboard. All other links are ok. Just thought I'd let you know so you can fix the link xxx
ReplyDelete"Don't fancy yours much" as the saying goes. What a bruiser!! Fab colouring Christina, making me think I must have another go at "stretching" myself. Will let you know how I get on with another go at colouring.
