This gift started life as a really inexpensive ring bound notebook
It is ideal to be kept by the side of the phone for any messages you may need to take
I opened the ring binder very carefully and decorated it with some really pretty paper.
And what's more there is a video tutorial ... that was done some years ago by me ... to show you the process.
I have used Spellbinders on mine simply because I have them but you can use punched shapes or hand cut ones to create this look ... Altered Notebook
The die I used is the A2 Floral Ribbon Threader and added pink ribbon to the slots
The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts along with the dazzler on the bow
More tomorrow ...
Hugs xx
That's stunning Christina. And the colour is lovely.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty gift. Nice to have a pretty notebook by the phone.
ReplyDeleteGood morning Christina, I am a believer of note books, I carry one in my small handbag as I can't carry any weight on my shoulders, and it's amazing how often I get my little book out. However I hadn't thought about making it look so pretty, so I'll keep that thought for when I see things that would go with my lavender notebook. Thank you . X Ros

ReplyDeleteHi Christina what a lovely tutorial and beautiful project. I have a die like this but didn't know how to use it. You must be very patient I try to replicate what you produce but it takes me hours upon hours, but I do persevere and get there in the end.
