It is pouring down here in Blackpool so don't plan on walking on the prom today you will get blown away. Even Ruby doesn't want to go outside and looks at me with soulful eyes when I tell her to go out for necessities. If you know what I mean ... and I'm sure you do
So it's light the fire time and stay in until all the wind and rain has gone.
Do you know what I do ?? When I bought the fire I got really thick fire gloves with it as standard. Designed of course so that you don't burn your hand when adding logs to the fire.
So I put the glove on my right hand and open the fire door ... then load the logs in with my left ungloved hand. Now how stupid can you get ???? Don't answer that, I know

ReplyDeleteIt's just the sort of thing that most of us would do - and I've got the burns to prove it ha ha. It's lashing down outside this evening and the wind is horrendous, I feel so sorry for those who live in the flooding areas. Ruby has a lot of sense in wanting to stay in during this storm.
