Birthday Pink

Hi Everybody,

This pretty card was created with the Perfect Panels and Lovely Layers Circular die set, and the stamp set from the sentiment.

The flowers are made from the Filigree Flowers and I have used Distress Oxides to edge the flowers with colour.

The leaves have also been inked in different shades of green and I added in a Dragon Fly cut in gold, which makes a change from the butterflies I usually add in to my designs.

For the card I have used a 5x7 top folded base and the pink layer has been embossed in a folder and then ink swiped over the top with a white ink pad.

This again is another attempt at re visiting all my collections and using a really old die set

Some of these dies are no longer available but as I already have them I need to use them more whenever I come to make a card.

Flowers & Butterflies

Hi Everybody,

The flowers and the butterflies on this card are from the Perfect Panels and Lovely Layers Collection and they have been added to a background of Elegant Nestable Rectangles.

I have chosen two shades of pink ink and a white theme for my card and the end result is an A5 sized base that looks really pretty once completed.

It will need a box to add it to, but that is no problem with the A5 Complete Card & Box die set.

I have used foam tape to give height to the layers in the card and the flowers are also raised with foam pads.

The butterfly base is cut in gold card with a white overlay, and is attached by the centre bodyline only so that the wings can be raised off the card for effect.

Some of the leaves have also been cut in the gold card and slotted behind the display of flowers.

Add the sentiment of your choice and this card could be used for any different occasions.

Birthday Wishes

Hi Everybody,

Now this photo definitely does not show up the glitter card that I have used on the background and it is a beautiful bronze colour that really sparkles.

This is a 5x7 card on a white base and the die that I have used is the Rectangles Perfect Panels die set from Card Making Magic. I cut the rose filigree panel four times and layered three of them together. 

I added them to some silver mirror card and then coloured in the flowers and the leaves through the pattern in the card. The silver shines though the colour and looks very pretty. 

The fourth panel was added to the top of these to cover up any marks outside the lines and then the whole panel is layered on top of the glitter card.

I cut the sentiment four times, three in white and the fourth one in black glossy card and added that to the front also. It doesn't need any further embellishment as the glitter card says enough.

Perfect Panels & Lovely Layers Circle Card

Hi Everybody,

This pretty card is created with pone of my favourite collections and I love the results that I get every time I use any of the shapes that are available.

This one has several layers all created with foam tape and then tiny gemstones dotted around the edge.

It could be for any occasion and used at any time of year, and will surely help you to get your MoJo back on track.

The video will show you how I created this one and it is easy to do. Just be sure to look very carefully at your dies and where the cutting edges are placed.

Perfect Panels & Lovely Layers - Circles

Hi Everybody,

For today's card I have gone back to a previous collection and this is the Perfect Panels & Lovely Layers sets.

There are several shapes in these die sets ... circles, rectangles, squares and  triangles so I thought I would remind you of what is in them.

Each set has a matching embossing folder and stamps that will fir into the spaces on your cards.

This one obviously uses the circle die set and I have teamed it with a verse from the Wonderful Words stamp set.

As usual I have added in the flowers and leaves and they are from the Filigree Flowers Die set  and they can of course be used on any card or project you like to make.

The card will stand straight if you level off the back piece slightly along the bottom edge.
