More Samples - Bouquet in Bloom

Hi Everybody,

I have had such a lot of fun playing with this paper pack and I have made lots of cards using it all.

The designs are so pretty and the cads are really feminine once they are completed.

Nothing could be easier than using a complete pack as everything is there for you from the backing papers to the sentiments.

All you need is your base card and maybe some extra embellishments ...  if that is what you like to do.

The black card has been embossed in one of the folders and then rubbed over  lightly with some gold paste

Just a few pearls have been dotted around to complete the look for this card.

For this card I have used some of the Washi Tape along each side of the woodgrain background.

Then decoupages the image from the bottom of some of the paper pack twice and layered them together with foam pads.

Behind this layer I have added in some of the Ephemera.

The sentiment has been added to some white card and then added with foam pads

All the cards have a clean and fresh look to them and are prefect for quick makes that will be there ready for you once you need them.

Change out the sentiment and they could be for any occasion

Bouquet In Bloom Paper Pack

 Hi Everybody,

Today sees the launch of a brand new paper pack from
Card Making Magic
and this is the
 Bouquet in Bloom Collection.

I am so sorry I launched this a week too early and so here it is again.

It consists of two emboss and cut folders with different patterned apertures in them.

One pack of Washi paper, another of rose gold foiled sentiments and another with some lovely, good quality papers to add to your designs.

There is also a pack of mixed Ephemera with blooms in cups or jugs or simply in a bouquet.

I like to add these with foam tape underneath to raise them up from the card base.

And sometimes I add two, or maybe three, to the design  for more effect.

Use the papers with other dies that you may have in your own personal collections

Then finish the look with sequins, pearls or diamante, singly or in flourishes for a more opulent look.

Another thing I like to do is add my sentiments to an extra piece of card for strength,  and then use either scissors or dies to cut them out.

Alter the size and shape of the base card to ring the changes and stop you getting bored making the same design.

The top card is a 5x7 and the bottom is an A6 ... the round one speaks for itself

But paper packs can give you everything you need to create quick and easy cards in one go.

Here is the the video for you can to view and I hope you enjoy it

Ooops !!

 Hi Everybody,

Last week I added a post about a new collection that is being launched from Card Making Magic.
BUT ..... I added it a week too early !!
What an idiot (No Comment needed)

So I have taken it down again and it will be re added this week.
I apologise for any inconvenience but it will be back when the product is on the Craft Stash website.

In the meantime here is a sneaky peak at one of the cards that I have made with this collection and they are all really pretty and I really hope you will like it once it is here.

More will be shown when the product is available.

I will  also be back to show you what I bought at the craft show and I made  sure not to spend too much.

But the days when I would save up for months and spend hundred's on Spellbinders dies are long gone.

More tomorrow ...

Personal Challenge

Hi Everybody,

Over the past few days I have been rummaging around in my craft room and I have found several paper packs that I have not used for quite a while.

So I have set for myself the personal challenge to use them on as many cards as I can.

The papers shown here are from the Card Making Magic Pretty Book Collection and it is one of my favourite packs.

I made lots of videos with this set of dies, but I also enjoyed using the papers in the Butterfly Collection set too.

The flowers seemed to fit just perfectly into the butterfly wings

I have also used up some of the surplus die cuts on my desk at the same time and the cards are all really feminine and cute.

And the gold and silver mirror card that I have used also came in very handy to use as mats for the papers, and the sentiments that I have cut.

Oh! the things you find when you start to rummage ... and they where the Nuvo drops in lots of different colours.

I squeezed them onto my cards in the place or pearls and they really made such a difference to the designs

Here are two of the cards. What do your think, is it worth using up the papers pads to make these ??

I know the Charity shop will be delighted with them once my box is full again and I take them in to the shop.
