Pink Letterpress Card

Hi Everybody,

No post yesterday as we spent the whole day getting my daughters old house ready for the new people.  The whole place shines and smells gorgeous.

We steamed and shampooed everything ... we even vacuumed the Venetian blinds and steam cleaned the wallpaper.  So now the new people can move in and have nothing to do as everything is ready for them.

Here is another of the Letterpress cards and this one is crated with Victorian Velvet and the Framed Labels 18 3D M-Bossabiliteis folder

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and they are a mixture of Roses, Carnations, Cherry Blossoms, Tulips and buds.

The Diamante "Bling" is from Want2Scrap  and makes this card look really special.

The white Organza ribbon is from my "Stash" and the centre has the addition of a Dazzler.

This is using the same folder and colour scheme but with the other side of the folder inked up.

This gives a different look to where the colour is added.... but is just as pretty.

The video  Letterpress Technique  has now been added to the website and I hope you will find it useful.

Lovely in Lilac...

Hi Everybody,

Today we have moved my youngest daughter from her old house to ours for three weeks until her new house is ready for her to move into.

And so my house looks like Steptoes back yard with all the stuff around.

I don't know how one small person can have so much stuff and most of it has gone into storage.

So this is just a short post due to lack of time... and energy !!

This is another card using the Letterpress Technique and yesterday I made a short video on this technique... and the page will be will be added to the website on Monday.... and I will post the link then.

For this card I have used the 3D M-Bossabilities folder
Framed Labels 18  and the Dusty Concord Distress Ink.  The bottom half to the card has been sparkled up with Glamour Dust and wrapped with some lace.

The flowers are a beautiful  arrangement from Wild Orchid Crafts and they too have the addition of Glamour Dust to the petals.  It is much prettier in real life.

Red and White

Hi Everybody,

This card is a long way from the neutral ones I featured yesterday and is a very bright and busy red.
It has lots of layers to it and is much better in real life than the picture shows.

All the Spellbinders used will be BOLD  so that you will know what has been used.

So starting from the base this is what I have used....

The white base has been embossed with the A4 folder Garden Lattice and I have  double layered  this onto red and then white card.

I have then cut the 5 x 7  Enchanted Labels 28 in red matted it to white and then red again and added it to the card front with foam tape to raise it up.

Red Organza ribbon has been wrapped around before adding these layers to the base card.

The next layer is a hand created background that is stamped using  one of the new colours from Distress inks  and this is Festive Berries.

It was then cut from A2 Filigree Delight  which is embossed  with the Lattice folder and then matted to red and then white card.

The  hearts have been cut from the Vines of Passion die which is a two part set and the centre of the filigree has been filled with glitter... and added with even more foam tape to give definition.

A large pearl is in the centre of the bow to hide the knot and there you have it ..... not a card you can miss really as it is so vibrant.

Cream, White and Black ...

Hi Everybody,

The theme for these cards is keeping things simple and just using three neutral colours.

Cream, White and  Black are all that I have used and I have embossed each of the panels for effect.

The flowers are one of the Die D-Lites from Spellbinders  and this one is the Asters and Poppies.

The sentiment has been added to one of the Fancy Tags 3 and I have cut it twice and added the black one to the back for a shadow effect.

All the panels have been added with foam pads and the ribbon is a double one with White Organza and some Grosgrain with little flowers in the weave.

The button is one that  I removed from a cardigan when the garment was thrown away ... I knew it would come in handy one day!!!

This card uses  Bluebells and Lily of the Valley and is another of the smaller Die D-Lites.... and they have been added to the Filigree Vase.

I have matted to the white base card  Enchanted Labels 28 and this is a big die.

The cream centre part is Labels 30 which I have embossed

The white Organza ribbon is wrapped around the card  and the pewter button is another from my button jar.

All have been matted and layered onto white and black and black pearls added in the top right corner.

Then last but not least  is this one.

For this I have used  the Gilded Gate 2 and I have cut the whole lot from White card .... and then chopped off the gates and used them as a grid.

They have been matted and layered onto alternate white and black panels and the white one has been embossed.

I have added in some "Bling"  from Want2Scrap on this card and I quite like the finished look of them all.

Busy Day ...

Hi Everybody,

I have been busy playing with the new dies from the Craft show and here are some of the cards thatI have come up with.

I have tried to make them all completely different to each other and to cover several occasions when we would need to make a card.

The Lilac one is using the Radiant Rectangles and I love this die because it is so versatile and ornate.

They can be mixed and matched to create a number of shapes in all sizes and when added to a card make it look rich..

The Floral centre to the card has Glass Beads added and the butterfly was free with my monthly magazine.

This pink  card is for a wedding and I have used the Large Shoe and the Lattice background from Stamps by Chloe.

The sentiment is added to another of the Radiant Rectangle shapes and has been embossed in silver.

The flowers have been sparkled and they are from Wild Orchid Crafts

I have added in some  pink "Bling" along the side of the shoe and it is from Want2Scrap     The shoe itself has been decoupaged with three layers and all matted and layered onto pink and white card.

And last of all I have made  a Sympathy Card using the Crosses 2 from Spellbinders.

I have kept this one very simple in white and used the Opulent Ovals to create the centrepiece.

The background has been embossed and I have used white Cosmic Shimmer glue to create the pearls.

I have cut two sizes and layered them with foam pads and altered the orientation of one.

The silver background to the sentiment is the smallest die from Locking Loops

Delightful Daisies

Hi Everybody,

Todays card is made from the new 3D M-Bossabilities folder Delightful Daisies from Spellbinders.

I have used the Letterpress  technique with the Big 'n Juicy Waterfall Ink and I really like the effect it gives.

The Butterfly is from the Les Papillion and I have cut it in turquoise and white and added gemstones to the body line.

The ribbon is Organza from my stash with a turquoise Dazzle in the centre to cover the knot.

The sentiment has been added to the Decorative Labels 1 and I have added in some matching "Bling"  form Want2Scrap

It has all been double matted onto turquoise and white card and an "A" Frame added to the back to display the it.

So this is just a short post for today but I do like the card.

Back to Spellbinders...

Hi Everybody,

Today I am helping my daughter with packing as she is moving house in two weeks time.

We have to get everything ready to go into storage for a short while until the house she is buying is ready for her to move in to.

She text me the other day with her moving date and I asked jokingly "Oh and where are you moving too" and she text back with "Your house for about three weeks...."

So the card featured is one I made a while ago and uses the new Imperial Gold dies from Spellbinders.

I have used the Gold Labels Four and layered it with Gold Ivy for a very pretty combination.  I have used some pink Organza ribbon topped with pink silk ribbon and a button form my button jar on the knot.

The Pink swirl flourish is from Want2Scrap

The background has been embossed and the edges pierced and I have done a little video on Pierced Edges that may help you if you are new to the idea.

Here is a sobering thought .... I have had to go to the Doctors because apparently my blood pressure is high and I asked him why as I have always had low BP.

He said   ... "When you are young your veins are like flexible tubes ... but when you get to your age they are like ....er  rigid pipes"      well thanks for that Doc ... I felt about a hundred and two ....

See you tomorrow

Green Card Fixed ...

Hi Everybody,

I had a lovely day out yesterday and caught up with all my friends news over lunch and coffee.

Then when I got home I had the green card with the wonky pearls staring accusingly at  me ... and so I had to make it right.

This is what I did......  I cut around the edge and removed the wonky bit and then remounted the centre part on two more layers.

I embossed the white layer and then matted into onto the green base card.

Some pearly "Bling" from Want2Scrap in two different sizes was added to the top left and bottom right and an "A" Frame made for the back of the card to display it .... and now .... I like it better.

I also did the same thing to the pink one and I added the centre part to the Locking Loops in Pink.

I pierced the edges of the next white layer and matted it onto the pink base.

The addition of some Swirly rhinestone Bling completes the look.

And now I am a happy bunny with two much prettier cards.

Quick Post ...

Hi Everybody,

This is a quick post today as I am going out for lunch with a friend and won't be back until later in the afternoon.

This one uses the Crosses Two set and it could be for many different occasion.

I have cut some silver foiled Acetate to cover the front of the card and this is beautiful.

I bought it at the craft show and it is foiled with butterflies and is quite thick.... thick enough to use as a card in it's own right.

The border at the top is from the Asian Accents set and both this and the crosses have been cut from Si;ver Mirror card.

I have cut all the crosses and laid them side by side and then matted the sentiment onto some more silver card and added some gemstones in each corner.

This could be for Easter, Confirmation, maybe a wedding card and even a Sympathy card.  the crosses can be used singly or in any combination and it looks much more luxurious in real life then on the photo

Thank you for all your support yesterday over the negative comment and the wonky green card.... which I will fix and show you what I have done with it..... more tomorrow.

New Dies...

Hi Everybody,

Here are two cards using some of the new dies that I bought at the weekend.

They feature the 5 x 7 Enchanted Labels 28 and it is quite a big die.

I have done it in two different colours and added in some of the smaller dies that I have.

The sentiments on both have been stamped and embossed and I have wrapped ribbon around the mats.

Easy cards to make and I love that die ... so intricate and yet looks very delicate.

The edges to the pink one have been rounded.

But this green one is going in the bin ....

Look carefully at the white dots around the side .... they are not even on both sides and so it has to go. Ooooops !!

I may just take it apart and start again ... can't believe  my own stupidity ...  I must have been on another planet when I made this one.

In the centre panel I have added two of the pieces from the Damask Motifs as a frame behind the sentiment.

The swirly bits are from the Jewel Fantasies ... but have you noticed there are no flowers on either of them.

More cards tomorrow as I carry on playing with the dies.

Yesterday I had a comment left for me on YouTube by someone with an attitude problem.

They had watched  my Colour Class Reds tutorial where I have coloured the rose with an image from Just Inklined.

The person told me that I should learn to draw and not use other people images.....

I responded to the comment and I also added the story to Facebook .... and within a short space of time I had 59 people adding their own comment in support of ME ....

I cannot understand the thinking behind the comment as not every body can draw and so the best way to get a good result is to use a stamp, stencil or digital image and then enjoy the colouring in process.

If we did not use other peoples drawings then the artists that do the wonderful drawings would soon be out of business.

I would never be so rude as to leave a negative comment anywhere.  If I don't like the page that I am on or the video that is in front of me then I would just leave and find things that do interest me.

I was not angry or upset .... just baffled by the attitude.

Craft Show "Goodies" 2013

Hi Everybody,

Home again after a really enjoyable weekend away at the Craft Show.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn this time and it was very good ... and a lot more reasonably priced than the last hotel we stayed in.

These are some of the things I bought and I can't wait to get playing with them all.

I eventually got my Grand Decorative Circles and I also bought the Grand Decorative Labels One.

But all the ones I bought have fancy edges to them and they are lovely.  I also got the large A4 M-Bossabilities folder and that will enable me to emboss a whole sheet of card in one go.  And I got a lot of magnetic sheets to store them on.

Some of the other items are the new colours in the Distress Inks and they are very bright for summer cards..... need more blenders to go with the new colours....and I know just the place to buy some too !!

I got all the usual stuff like glues,  glitters, Gilding Flakes and Alcohol Blending solution.

And I bought some of the "Stamps By Chloe" as they are just lovely and I can't wait to show you what I come up with using them.

It's nearly time for the draw to be done so if you haven't added your name to the list it will soon be too late.

Head on over to the page for your chance to win some   Spectrum Noir Pens    .... the winner will be chosen on Tuesday.

Paper Creators 6th Challenge

Hi Everybody,

I can't believe how quickly time is going and once again it is challenge time over at Paper Creators

The theme this time is Spring and as part of the Design Team  this is my card.

I have used one of the Sassy Sally Images and it is a pre-coloured image from the Paper Creators shop  that you can download and use as much as you like

If you enter your card into the challenge you could win a £10 voucher to spend in the shop on any items that take your fancy... and there are many cute characters to tempt you.

I have made this card to a 6" tent fold  and I have added in some pink ribbon and a bow along the right hand side.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts   and they are a mixture of roses in different sizes and some small pink daisies.

The letters are from the Alphabet set from Clarity Stamp  and they come complete with matching tile stamps for you to create the blocks.  You can make any word you want  and you will never be short of adding in some ones name to your designs.

As you read this I will be at the GNPE craft show in Harogate ... spending my pennies but if you still haven't entered your name for the chance to win some ...
then do it now.... the draw will end next Tuesday.

Colouring again ...

Hi Everybody,

This beautiful image is another from Saturated Canary and this one is called "Roses are Red ...."

I have coloured her in with Spectrum Noir and I have kept the colours very soft on this project.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I have sparkled them up with some Glamour Dust.  The leaves are from the Foliage set from Spellbinders.

I found an odd piece of pink lace in my "stash" and I have added this along with some ribbon down the spine of the card... and added some Card Candi into the knot and on the top right corner.

The background has been embossed and the banner is from one of the sets available now at Save On Hobbies  and there are some very pretty new dies for you to browse.

So the GNPE gets ever closer and if you are there my "Film Crew" will be wearing his "Card Making Magic" hat so please keep a look out for us and say hello.  It will be so nice to meet you.

There are so many names added to the list already to win the Spectrum Noir  prize and it gets longer every time I look at it.  Some body is going to be so happy next week when the draw is done and they get to find out that they have won the whole set all to themselves.....   YaaaaaY !!!

If you still haven't added your name for the chance to win then here is the link to join in the

The pens ....

Hi Everybody,

I am so pleased that you like the latest Give Away ... I told you it was a good prize  and if you haven't entered yet then here is the link to the page where you can add your name for the chance to win the  ...   Spectrum Noir Pens

Over the next few days I am going to add photos of images that have been coloured by me with my Spectrum Noirs.    And hopefully you will like the cards and want to win them even more.

They are such a versatile pen and well within most peoples budgets.  Please,  please don't be afraid to colour ... practise and the more you do the better you will become.

I know I have said it before but it is worth repeating here .... you do  not  need all of the 168 pens ... start with some of the six pens sets and you will have more than enough to get the results that you want.

My advice for a starter set would be the Pale Hues ... to colour skin ... both dark and light skin.

Essentials ... as this has black and the blender pen.

And then choose two of your favorite colours, and depending on what it is you like to colour.

My choices were blue and pink when I started ... why ... well because most people wear jeans these days both male and female.... and pink .... well just because I love pink... and what I like to colour the most are characters.

So this image is Blanche and she is from Saturated Canary  where you will find some fabulous characters to colour.

I will be away Friday and Saturday so my posts will go out scheduled ... hopefully/  But I will be back on Sunday with some Goodies bought from the GNPE show in Harogate.

Please look out for us and say "Hello" Look for my "Film Crew" who  will be wearing his Card Making Magic baseball  hat and probably carrying a large bag.

Look at this ...

Hi Everybody,

I just have to share this with you as it was delivered, very sneakily I might add,  to my craft room yesterday morning and left on my desk.

It is handmade by my "Film Crew" to celebrate the websites 4th birthday.

He has used bits and pieces from cards that have been sent to me for my own birthday and Mothers Day and recycled this for me.

He was so pleased with it and I think it is wonderful.

The white border across the top of the card is ..... kitchen roll and he pinched the bows off his birthday card to me last week.

You have to give him 10 out of 10 for his efforts ... and he even added an "A" frame to the back so it would stand.

Awwww Bless him ......  So we went out out to have a meal for the birthday celebration  ... .and would you believe I left my money and cards at home by mistake  ....  Oooops!  so Griff had to pay.

Still I am taking him to a craft show this weekend ...  what more could he want ????

Going, going ...

Hi Everybody,

Over the year I try out many products, techniques, materials and styles of cardmaking for Card Making Magic and as  result I end up with lots and lots of cards.... and I mean lots of cards.

I am sent some of the products by companies for me to try out,  and to see what I think of them,  and then to tell you about it if the product is a good one.

And I may need to make 6/10/12 cards from that one thing to give a valued opinion ... so you can see why I end up with so many.

I use many of my cards to send out to relatives and friends over the year and then at Christmas time I make decorated boxes,  and fill them with cards.

Each of our four girls is given one,  and then they have cards to send to their own friends through the next year.

Now yesterday was a dull and wet sort of a day and so I had a grand clear out of my craft room and sorted out all the cards.

There are almost 200 hundred cards here.

60 of them in boxes, and the rest, complete with envelopes are in cellophane packets and they are all  going ... going ... gone to a local charity that I support.

They then sell them to raise money for their own charity which is
 Donnas' Dream House  in Blackpool
and this gives a holiday to a sick child and their family.

And Card Making Magic is proud to be a sponsor of this wonderful house and the work they do.

Breast Cancer Care...

 Hi Everybody,

I am very fortunate to be blessed with good health and my heart goes out to any body that is stricken with illness or disability.

I know that many people that visit the Website or here on the Blog are housebound for one reason or another ... and I am so happy to provide tutorials and instructions to help you with your cardmaking.

On lady wrote to me and told me that her doctor said that I should be prescribed on the National Health as I had helped her with her depression.

I had visions of me in little bottles or blister packs that could be pressed out as needed. .... oh my goodness!!

Any way todays character is the free Boobie Love from Saturated Canary   ... and I hope you managed to get your copy of this delightful  image.

I have coloured  this in two different ways...but both highlight the pink ribbon that is the Breast Cancer Logo.

The first one is coloured with just ordinary everyday pencils with a tiny touch of pink on the ribbon on her T-shirt... and kept to the black and white theme.

The second one has been coloured in with Spectrum Noir  and added to a pink background.

But it just highlights the fact that you don't need a lot of pens or pencils to create a really pretty look.

And if you can spare the time please pop over to This Page   and scroll towards the bottom and click the Pink Ribbon Logo to give a FREE mammogram to another woman who may be facing this dreadful illness.

That's all you have to do ... click the ribbon and it will provide help for someone else ... and if you can do it whenever you have the time just think what can be achieved.

Book Card Kit

Hi Everybody,

When I added this beautiful   Book card      tutorial it was very well received.

Then when I added the Die Cut Shapes to "My Shop" a few days ago they where also well received.

But the one thing that I have had quite a few emails about is this card ... and what many of you want are the die cuts to make this card for your self.

My card was made up with four of the pages and of course the corsage (in My Shop) added to one side.

Because of the requests I have put together a little kit that you can use to make your own.

I have kept it white so that it can be adapted to suit your recipient ... but to change the look just add inks, glitters, other paper or other shapes.

The kit will consist of all of the six pages of the Grand Labels 4 that can be added to your book.

Some of the pages I have embossed ready for you to add colour... and I have added in the two smaller panels from the Floral Ovals.

You can add flowers or a sentiment to these as I have done.

I have also thrown in the
Card Stand so that the finished card can be displayed and it is all cut from good quality card

I have priced this for all nine elements  at £3.25 + P&P and if you click the photograph you will be able to see more clearly what is in the kit.

And if you buy one of these kits then use it to trace out templates and that way you can create your book from other card that you have in your "Stash"

And if you keep  the template safe you will always have it on hand if you want to make another book card in the future..... Just talked myself out of some repeat orders there ....

Hope it is what you want

Thank you so much ...

Hi Everybody,

Thank you for all your lovely Birthday wishes yesterday.

I had a really good day... mainly working  on the new PC and trying to get it to play nicely.... which was not easy.

But today I am using it and everything seems to be OK ... for now.... Windows 8 is a whole new ball game.

I got the usual gifts of chocolates and I ended up with three bottles of red wine .... do you think that my family think I am a "lush" ???

And as well as the flowers from Griff I also had a gorgeous white Orchid from my eldest daughter.

This is the gift that my youngest daughter bought for me and it is a beautiful silver name tag.

The meal out was delicious and all in all a very pleasant day ... and so now I am officially a "Fossil"

This is the latest photo of Isabella and it was taken on Sunday when her Nanny (my youngest daughter) and I  (great gran) took her to the park for a few hours.

We had a lovely time and Isabellas' squeals of delight where a joy to hear ... she certainly knows what a park is for.

This is her concentrating on keeping an empty yogurt pot on her head ... and it was clean I hasten to add.

So thank you again for all your thoughts, comments and best wishes.

The next major milestone for me  is  Card Making Magic will be four years old on the 12th March and I have a fantastic Give Away for you....

It's my Birthday ....

Hi Everybody,

No post yesterday as I spent most of the day trying to get the new PC up and running.  The longest part was transfereing everything from the old one to the new one.,,,, and things did not want to play correctly with each other.

Eventually it was sorted ... but it was so late last night that I just switched it all off and went for some sleep.

This is the bouquet that Griff gave to me for my birthday and this evening we are going to our favorite restaurant.

I will be having a delicious steak and some red wine to go with it ..... Mmmm Mmmm!!

So yesterday while things were whirring in the background I made a card for no apparant reason and this is it.

The Spellbinders I used are the Curved Matting Basics A and B and the Fleur Di Lis Squares

They have been layered up with turquoise card and then added with foam pads to a white base card

The butterflies are a Martha Stewart punch and the bycycle is a  Memory Box die that I bought at the last craft show
The background panel to this has been created with a really cheap Shaving Foam and Alcohol Inks

I have then  stamped over the panel  and some  added some glitter and the effect is very pretty.

The  Shaving Foam Tehnique is  a short tutorial on this messy but fun idea and you can vary the look with different inks that match your colour scheme... or even paint.

Click the photo for a closer look and it is much better in real life.

Quick Post today ...

Hi Everybody,

This is just a very quick post today as I have a million things to do.

The main excitement for me today is a new PC that is being delivered this afternoon.

It will enable me to work so much quicker than on a laptop ...  which is how I currently build my website.

Let's just say this is my birthday present to me ... and I am going to be so happy when I present it to me ....I just won't know how to thank me for this wonderful gift.

Today's card is one for the boys  and features one of the lovely  stamped image  from   Lili of the Valley

Their images are so delightful that you will have  hard time choosing some.

This one has been coloured with Distress Inks which give a lovely water colour effect to your cards... and there are tutorials on the website about ... Colouring with Distress Inks.

I have broken it down into three parts that will cover Hair, Skin and Clothes.

The background for this card is from the new M-Bossabilities folder from Spellbinders and this is the Letters and Numbers.  I have inked over the folder with Broken China Distress Ink  and then added in a banner panel and some Bakers twine.

So now I need to go and clear a space on my desktop for a birthday present that is coming today .... wonder what it can be ???

Die Cut Shapes

Hi Everybody,

In  a recent conversation with my very good friend Christine in Nottingham ...  she suggested an item for" My Shop"

As she explained  she does not have a die cutting machine,  and does not make that many cards to warrant the buying of one.

And so she buys packets of die cut shapes ...  but they are never big enough for her to add sentiments or images too.

So what she wants are shapes that she can mat and layer her cards with  ... and  she suggested that if she needs them so might others.

She also likes the look of the Spellbinders ... but as she has no die cutter she also doesn't have them either.

This is what I am adding to "My Shop"

I have put together some packs of large shapes in various styles  and the picture shows you  the size in relation to an A4 card.

I have chosen the largest die from each set.

I have cut them in white from a 350 gsm card so that they can be distressed or coloured to suit your own projects.

Some will be embossed and others left plain.

They will be large enough for a sentiment or an image, or the embossing  can be enhanced with inks.

There will be  15 large  die cuts in  each pack and they will sell for  £3.75  and that works out at  25 pence  per shape.

Use them as focal point to your cards or as a base for your flowers.

Blonde v Brunette

Hi Everybody,

Well I went back to Saturated Canary and bought some more of the beautiful images ...  and this one is called   "Bubbles"

I just love these characters and they are so easy to colour.

I printed them off in draft so that they can be coloured with Spectrum Noir ... and I added two to each sheet of  smooth white  A4 160 gsm paper ... and that will leave me enough space for me to cut them out with Spellbinders.

Although the image is the same I have coloured them  completely different.

One I have kept to Blonde hair and blue eyes and in pale colours ....

I have added sparkle to the dress and the ribbon is from my "stash" and the pearls have been created with Cosmic Shimmer Glue and the tutorial    Creating Your Own Pearls  will show you what I did.

The other I have done in more vibrant colours ... and goodness me there are the flowers again..... Wonder how they got there ????

This one I have given brown hair and eyes and I asked my film crew which he preferred and he said the Blonde one as he was a sucker for blondes ..... I prefer the brown haired one.

This one has been added to some paper that I designed myself and I have been asked to show you the papers before I add all the embellishments....

Here it is and the watermark is there for obvious reasons ... and it is the swirl that I picked out with a glue pen and sprinkled it with glitter.

Once I get enough to make a collection then I will add them to the website.

Beautiful Image ...

 Hi Everybody,

This beautiful image is a "Freebie"  from   Saturated Canary   and I think she is simply gorgeous.

She is called "Boobie Love"  and if you add that name to the search box it will take you to the download.

The style of the artist ...  Krista Smith ...  is wonderful and all her characters  are oh! so pretty and they all have big eyes.

They are so easy to colour and both of these have been coloured by me with Prisma  Colour Pencils.

The pencils are such an easy medium to work with and give beautiful results once they are blended.

I have done one in pink and the character has green eyes ... and the other in blue  which has blue eyes.

I have coloured the hair to each one slightly different.

On the pink one I have added a small flower to the hair where the artist has drawn one ... just  for a little added embellishment.

But apart from the few Wild Orchid Flowers  there is not a lot else to adorn either card ... which is very unusual for me. (Shock)

In fact it is so unusual that I will need to go and lie down in a darkened room to recuperate ... but only after I have been back to Saturated Canary to buy some more of these lovely images.

Now I am sure you realise that today is the 1st March and I have two celebrations this month.

The first one is my own Birthday on the 6th.... but the important one is that Card Making Magic will be four years old on the 12th March ..

And that is the date you need to watch out for as there is going to be a ... BIG ... Big Give Away that you really will not want to miss ... 12th March
