Todays image is from Mo's Digital Pencil and there is also a little girl and they are called Back To School
I have used the curly haired version but you can get the same images with straight hair so it will fill a number of styles.
Colour these in the childs uniform colours and add their name to make it really special
I will be making one for my Great Grand-daughter Isabella who will be starting school this September
I have used Distress Inks to colour this and then fussy cut it from the card.
The shadow effect is created onto the background piece with the bricks/
It is just a flat stencil also done with Distress Inks
The little banner is from a Spellbinders called Amused 1
More tomorrow ...

Hi Christina,
ReplyDeleteWhat a delightful card :). I know I'm not the first one to use this word...but it really is cute! I do like the way you've used the stencil on the diagonal and the shadow is very effective. Another winner and I know Isabella will love her version (and I still don't believe that you're old enough to have a great-grand daughter lol)

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness that is just too cute!
ReplyDeleteHi Christina, This card is so cute. I went ahead and purchased a few Mo's Digtial Pencils, How ever when I downloaded the designs I paid for, all my stress happened, the images came zipped, and the wrong size I couldn't make the smaller for the A2 size of cards I make. Totally worthless. I've sent an email to the company. Regarding this situation. Even my own printer looses parts of the print when I try to size. Thanks for your time. Every unhappy crafter.
ReplyDeleteWhen you buy digital images they mostly come zipped and that is done to save space as they are downloaded. You can get software that will open zipped files very easily and often they are free but you will need to download it to your PC. If you are not comfortable with PCs then ask some one to help you with it. Altering the size of the image is something that YOU would need to do via your printer settings before you print and then you can change the size of the image to any that you want. Again ask some one for help if you are stuck as that part is down to you and not the images that you bought.
