Yellow & Orange Brusho Rose

Hi Everybody,

I was particularly happy with the way this Rose turned out using the red and yellow Brushos. The colours have gone together really well .

I didn't use water colour card but you can if that is what you have. I found that the ordinary 300 gsm card worked just as well.

I am glad that these videos have prompted some of you about the Brushos that you already have and are preparing to get them out and use them again for your flowers.

It is amazing how much stuff we buy and then put away in a cupboard and forget about it, and maybe go and buy more of a similar item.

Shop your own stash and use what you already have .... it is far more satisfying than buying more items that you will forget to make use of..

This is the other card in the video from yesterday and I think both cards are really pretty.
The only problem is I now have a kat of boxes to make !!

Bye for now ...

Hugs xx

  1. Good Morning Christina and all that visit today. Well we are home from holiday during which I had a nasty fall. I had to go to A And E yesterday .. Had an x-ray and I have broken my wrist in 4 places. So my arm is in plaster till I have to go back for some further treatment.
I have looked back on all your posts Christina and I am loving the flower making ones. I am lucky enough to own the curl up ones you have used in the video. So it's time to get them out again after a lovely reminder of what we have stashed away. Thankyou Christina.
Sending hugs πŸ€— and best wishes to everyone. Please stay safe and well πŸ™.

  4. I love your roses with the brushos, a beautiful design Christina. As for using what we have? I have just had a clear out before decorating my craft room, I have donated a mass of unused and will never be used stuff, and found a few things I had forgotten about and will use. It is surprising what was found. After painting out, I will certainly shop my stash. Thanks x

  6. Shopping our stash is certainly the way to go, so many hidden treasures. Love the card Christina, the white background certainly sets of the beautiful flower. I don't have Brushos, but my watercoloured pencil i am sure will do the same job. Thanks for the wonderful video. Have a great weekend
