Pink Hinged Card ...

HI Everybody,

This is another of the Hinged cards and this is very simply made.

All I  have used for this is the Grateful Lattice and Mating Basics.

The main reason I use the matting basics is because I am rubbish at cutting a straight line ... no matter what I do it always goes  wonky.

I try to straighten it that much that the card ends postage sized by the time I have finished and is neither use not ornament.

And I bet a lot of you have the same problem .... Yes?

So out come the matting basics and then my card is neat and tidy from the word go ... and all I did was cut the Lattice out and add it to some patterned card that has been embossed.

The sentiment has been stamped and embossed in silver and cut from Labels 20 which is one of my all time favorite shapes.

I added a very large satin bow with a Dazzler in the centre and then added self adhesive pearls to each of the cross sections of the Lattice.

The finished card is 5 x 7" and I have added my "A"Frame to the back to display it.

Easy Cards ...

Hi Everybody,

I enjoy making cards that are easy to create and yet still have a really good look and feel to them and this one just adds a really simple hinge to join the back and front of the base card.

It  is the topic used in the video Create a Hinged Card  which just allows you to make cards that are larger than merely folding card  stock in half.

And once created you can use the card any way round that you wish.  I have used these with the hinge at the top.

For this I have used the Matting Basics A and B to give me the layers to my design ... and I have embossed the spotty layer.

The rose has been created following the Paper Roses  tutorial which will show you how to get realistic looking blooms for your cards.

This Rose has been taken a step further and the   Enamelled  Rose Tutorial  will show you how.

Get out those melting pots and try this for yourself ... and if you don't have a melting pot then use a pie dish as I did for the video. You don't have to eat a lot of pies to get the dish though .... they can be bought empty in the supermarket.

Another Yellow Card ...

Hi Everybody,

Here is another Yellow card but this one I quite like ... though yellow is still not my colour ... I just can't seem to get along with it somehow.

The size of the card is 6" x 8" with smaller panels in the centre.

The second layer is embossed with Garden Lattice and then layered with both of the Detailed Scallops

Pale yellow ribbon  has been wrapped around before adding them with foam pads to the base card.

A small die from the Matting Basics has been added under the largest square from the Fleur De Lis.

On this I have stamped and embossed the sentiment ... and there is no brand name to it so I can't tell you where it is from.

The Butterflies add a feminine touch and the pearls are from Want2Scrap

If you ant to add a product list to your Blog then InLinkz will help you to do it.  Click the blue frog in the side bar to go to their website.

Turquoise Lattice

Hi Everybody,

The start of another week that sees me adding more videos to the website.

I will be adding them this week and will post the links once they are ready.

But my "Film Crew" is busy watching Formula 1 today and so will not be editing the videos until later .... you just can't get the staff these days you know !!!!

This card is created from the Grateful Lattice again and it makes for such a lovely back drop to the card.

The Lattice has been cut in white and layered onto turquoise  and along the edge I have added in some pearls from Want2Scrap

This has then been layered onto one of the  Ornate Squares which has been cut in half and placed in opposite corners of the front.  I inked through the die first just to give a little colour to the shape.

The next layer has been embossed with Garden Lattice.  It is large A4 embossing folder but it saves you no end of time when you want to emboss.

Just run the whole  sheet of card through the machine and cut off what you need.

I have layered this onto turquoise and then white  card for a really pretty effect.  The Organza ribbon is from my "Stash"  and my "Film Crew" is working on a ...  BOW MAKER ... to help create the lovely effects from any ribbon.

This will be another item placed in "My Shop" and will be very well priced for you to buy and I will also add a video to show how I make the bows with this new item.

And the Winner Is ...

Hi Everybody,

Well are you ready for the winner of the Wild Orchid Flowers ???

The winner is ..... Carol Sue ...  and as soon as you let me have your land address  Carol I will get them in the post for you to play with.

I know you will not be disappointed with the prize and you will be adding them to lots of your projects for quite some time.

Todays card is another of the Peach Ones and this has a big Organza bow with a Dazzler in the centre.

The beautiful "Bling" is from Want2Scrap and is swirled along the centre panel.

Many of you like the product list that is now being added to the bottom of the page and have asked me how to do it for your own blogs.

Well you will need to join InLinkz and I have added a permanent link to their website in the side bar to your left ... this is what it looks like....
It is a paid for service and once you have  set up your account  then you will be able to add a supply list to the bottom of your pages ... Click the frog to go their website and take a look for your self.

But the product list looks really cool and tells others what to look for.

InLinkz is also the service that I hold my "Give Aways" with and they draw the number on a random basis so that it is fair to everyone who participates in it.

Hope that helps you in making a decision on adding it to your pages.
