It's a Girl ...

Hi Everybody,

Yesterday I gave you the opportunity to win the lovely CD "Wishes and Kisses"  from Funky Hand

There are so many Goodies on this disc that you won't be disappointed.

You will find 12 design sets and the papers for this Baby card are from the Hey Baby Girl  collection ... and this is one of my favorites.

I just love all the pinks in this set  ... they are simply beautiful and there is a really special brocade design that will go with any occasion that is Girly.

If you would like to win this prize then add your name to the list ... but only once please ... duplicates will be removed.

It has so much to offer you in the form of papers and Digital Stamps ... the sentiment  and the pram are just two examples of what you can expect.and you can re-size these to any size you wish to suit your project.

You have the ability to write your own verses, sentiments, names or dates and add them to your projects too o now anything can be personalised for all your recipients.

The pram and the sentiment have been heat embossed and the only other additions to the card is a little swirl from Want2Scrap .... one flower from Wild Orchid Crafts  ... and some of the pink ribbon from my "Stash"

The Spellbinders are listed below ...

Are you ready ???

Hi Everybody,

Are you ready for another fantastic  "Give Away" ??

This one has been very kindly supplied by Anice from Funky Hand

It is the CD "Wishes and Kisses" and it is full of backing papers, wordbooks and digital stamps for all your projects.

You will also find a text writer on the disc which means you can add your own verses and sentiments and alter the font and the size to suit your own projects.

The papers are lovely and over the next week I will be making cards from some of them to show you what you will be getting if you win.  Into the mix I will be adding four of the beautiful "Bling" packs  from  Want2Scrap to dress up your cards.

There is also a very useful Alphabet Stamp set that was donated by
 Edith Coleman

Edith is a lovely  lady who regularly visits my Blog and Website, and she invited me to lunch a few weeks ago. She had several items in her craft stash,  and because of failing eyesight she can no longer use them.

She asked me if I would take them and do with them what I wanted, and there are many brand new items still in their boxes.  So in tribute to Edith I am sharing her gifts with you all in this Give Away prize ... and when ever I add one of  Ediths'  donations  I will tell you. ... and she makes a delicious Salmon lunch too.

Let's  see what else will be  in the package....

Do you remember the  Ribbon Bargain  I told you about last weekend  ... well I have cut a good metre length off each of the six  rolls  and included that into the prize as well.

So here's the rules if you would like to win this lovely prize ...  which will be open for one week until the 18th May ...

Join the list of followers ... leave me a comment ...  then add your name to the list, just once as duplicates will be removed.

If you don't have a blog then leave the URL blank but add your email address so that you can be notified if you win.  And if you win you will have one week in which to claim your prize or it will be drawn again for some one else ... can't be fairer than that !!

Elegant Labels Four

Hi Everybody,

I love everything about this card from the colour to the dies used.

It is so pretty in real life with much more detail than shows on the photo.

The base layer has been embossed with the  Basket Weave A4 embossing folder from   Creative Studios ... but any folder would give that textured finish.

I have used the 5 x 7 Elegant Labels Four as the basis to my card and the centre part  has been layered onto navy blue card and added with foam pads to give it height.

The navy organza ribbon has been wrapped around the layers which have then bee added  with foam pads.

The sentiment is stamped onto two of the ovals from  the Opulent Ovals  and heat embossed in silver.

And I have added a button from an old pair of jeans to the knot in the bow.   The whole card has been edged in Diamante from Want2Scrap to add that extra touch.

Tomorrow sees the start of a new "Give Away" so I hope you will pop back and see what is on offer for May.  I don't think you will be disappointed and I hope you will add your name to the list ... but only once please ... duplicates will be removed.

Live, Laugh, Love ...

Hi Everybody,

Todays card looks decidedly red ... but in real life it is a lovely deep shade of Salmon Pink

I have used the beautiful 5 x 7  Elegant Labels Four  to create it and the base card has been embossed with the Elegance M-Bossabilities folder.

It is very easy to produce and makes for an unusual design to your cards.

The ribbon is from my "Stash" and is a single bow Tied by Hand  with a large Dazzler in the centre to cover the knot.

I love this sentiment and it is one I have used many times but I got it from a craft show and I don't know the brand name.

Just to let you know that there is a new "Give Away" coming up soon so pop back regularly to see what is on offer for May.

More tomorrow

Gilding Flakes...

Hi Everybody,

Yesterday I added another tutorial to the website with Gilding Flakes.

The first video was using the flakes with double sided adhesive sheets when I created the Gilded Bird Cage  but  this one is about using  ....  Gilding Flakes and Stamps.

This card was stamped with the Lattice from Stamps by Chloe

I have applied Cosmic Shimmer Flake and Glitter glue to the stamp with Cut'nDry  and then I have added the Gilding Flakes.

Once the card was finished it looked too plain for me and so I added in a small self adhesive pearl to each of the cross sections.

These little pearls are from the Hobby House  and they fit perfectly.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts  and the ribbon is from my "Stash" ... and once it was done I quite liked the end result
