Another little Snippet ...

Hi Everybody,

Yesterday I received a copy of this new magazine from Crafters Companion which is the third one in the series.

In it there are lots of Freebies for you to use on your cards and two CD's.

One  CD gives you items to get you crafting straight away from the disc  ... and the other is for Spectrum Noir.

It features Bios of four people that have contributed to the tutorials that you will find on there.

Three of those names are very well known in the crafting world ... and the other one is ..... Ta Dah !!!   ME

What an honor eh ??   I was asked weeks ago when the magazine was in the planning stages  if my videos could be used ... and only a fool would say   "No ..."

Five of my videos using Spectrum Noir pens have been added and I am so pleased I can't stop smiling.

Today the lady who put the magazine together .... Louisa McLean  ... was demonstrating at a Garden Centre near where I live.

And so I went down to meet Louisa  and thank her personally for including my work on to the CD that is with the magazine.... and I am still smiling Yaay ....

Both of you ladies will have been sent an email fro InLinkz  to confirm your win so please check your junk folder to make sure that it has not been added there.

You now have until Wednesday to send your land address to the email address in the letter.... after that the prize will go to someone else.

Please don't miss out on this wonderful prize ... I know you will love these flowers as much as I do.

And if you are not lucky enough to have won and you still like to add flowers to your cards then pop over to Wild Orchid Crafts and take a look at what they have on offer.

Easy Card ...

HI Everybody,

A few days ago I added a card and the video  that was created using Spellbinders Heirloom Ornament and the Quatrefoil Pattern.

But then I had a few emails asking if this card could be done without the use of dies ... and would I do a video on that way to make it too.

So that is what I have done ... and here is the Easy Christmas Card   that shows how I made the card pictured

The embossing folder is from Crafters Companion and is one of the 8 x 8 Embossilicious  and the pattern is very deep.

The sentiment has been stamped and heat embossed in silver and the beautiful Flourish is from Want2Scrap

I have also added the red pearls to the cross sections  and the ribbon is some of that I bought from TK Max.

Tomorrow is the draw for the two prizes that are on offer this month.  You still have chance to add your name if you would like to win some flowers from Wild Orchard Crafts.

Sneaky Peak ...

Hi Eerybody,

Here are two cards created from the  new Bebunni stamps that are launching tomorrow the 18th October on Create and Craft.

They have been colored with Spectrum Noir.

The colors used for both complete images are ...

PP1, PP3, PP5, IG1, IG2, IG4, IG6  ... and the ribbons alter the look.
I have added in my usual "Bling" from Want2Scrap and just small pieces make all the difference.

Both cards are also made to the Hinged Card style  and for the blue card I have left the ears outside the frame and curled them over a little.

No Flowers on either of these cards but the offer to win some is still open until Saturday morning.

You still have time to add your name to the list for two chances to win some beautiful flowers from .... Wild Orchid Crafts

Craft Show Buy ...

Hi Everybody,

The card today is much prettier in real life because of the background ... the photo does not do it justice.

It has a gold thread running through the pattern and is very elegant.

It was a craft show buy and it is fabric.  Voile to be factual and there were many colours and patterns to choose from.

It is added to double sided adhesive sheets and then you can cut it down to the size that you require.  I cut mine with the Grand Labels and it cut beautifully.

I added it to a   Faux Nestie   panel of the labels in the cream card and added it with foam tape to the front.

But this is the bit I wanted to share with you and  how much of a bargain it was.

Three sheets to each pack and buy one pack and get another one FREE .....Who could resist such a buy  ... er not me !!

£2.50 and I have 12 sheets of voile to add to my cards for a really special look.

The centre of the bow was one of my bargain bracelets from Primark  ... so who is feeling a happy bunny then ???

So to answer some questions I have been getting about the "Give Away" .....

  • The red cross at the side of your name just means that you can delete it if you wish ... it is nothing sinister.  But please delete it if you add your name more than once.
  • You don't need to have a Blog to enter ... just leave the URL box Blank
  • URL is nothing sinister either ... it is just the way that each page on a Blog/Website is found and it stands for Unique Random Locator  ... that's all
  • It doesn't matter where you live you can still enter for the chance to win .... I am happy to send the prize to you where ever you are
And if you haven't added your name yet then here is your chance ..... Wild Orchid Flowers.  ... I can't believe how many of you want this prize, there are over 700 names so far and we have till Saturday before the winners are chosen.

If you spot any duplicates then please let me know as it is getting rather hard to scan them all now
