New Hatpins

Hi Everybody,

So this is what I have been doing over the weekend.

 I ordered some new beads, diamante roundels, glass beads and other items to create some new designs for the Hatpins

They are very pretty and they have been added to Etsy  in packs of five assorted designs.

I have more stuff on the way and will get busy making other designs  when it arrives.

I have bough the items from various places ... mainly China and so will need to wait now for the  postman to deliver them all.

But the Hatpins and end protectors are from the  Sparkles Group   

They can be found on Ebay at the moment until their website is up and running again.

If you add the code CG05  at the checkout then a discount will be applied automatically for you.

Here are just a couple of close up ideas and I will show more next week.

The card is yours ....

Hi Everybody,

Well I am totally overwhelmed at your response and so happy that my expectations of 50 comments was more than met.

When the offer closed 109 of you had left me a comment.

So it is now 23.15 on the 7th March  and I am going to bed after I have written up and scheduled this post to give you the result first thing in the morning.

Friday Freebie 001...

Friday Freebie 001

Hi Everybody,

Thank you so much for all your Birthday wishes yesterday ... made me feel quite special.

Well here we go with the first card in the

Friday Freebie 

 and the card is only available for one day.

It is a 5 x 7 card and uses the Crisscross pattern for the background which has been studded with pearls from Want2Scrap

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and they have been sparkled with  Glitter Magic

The wide ribbon is from my "Stash" and it has been looped through the label die under the sentiment.

Now obviously I will need lots of comments as to offer the card to just one or two wouldn't be enough.

So  for this card I am setting the target at 50 comments.

I know some of you visit and don't leave me a comment but with 949 followers already then 50 should be do-able

At the end of today I will add all the names  into a hat and my "Film Crew" will draw one out.

The winners name will be announced in the morning and then you will need to contact me with your address.... and the card is yours.

It's My Day ...

Hi Everybody,

These are some of the cards that I got for my Birthday today ... and they are all arranged on top of my TV.

Griff is taking me out for dinner this evening to our favorite restaurant and I can tell you now I will be having a fillet steak .... oh!  I can almost smell it cooking !!

But I wanted to show you some beautiful cards that have been Hand made for me   by ladies who visit Flowers, Ribbons and Pearls and Card Making Magic.

This gorgeous card is 

Created by Anne Britton

and is lovely in shades of turquoise. 

The flowers have been arranged along the bottom and it is really very pretty.  Anne also bought me the flowers in the centre of the picture above.

I am very happy and honored that they have taken the time from their busy day to make me a card and send it.

The wonderful card in shades of pink is 

created by Kim Heginbotham 

and was sent in the post.

It is much appreciated ladies so "Thank You" to you both.

Another lovely thing to happen today was a very unexpected phone call from another lady who visits my pages.

This was from Ireland and a lady named Cepta. .... and she was the first person ever to add a photo to my Gallery pages and tell me about how she made it.

I am going now to enjoy the rest f my day and get ready to go out later ... and so far it has been a day of surprises.

Book Card ...

Hi Everybody,

This card is made from the Grand Labels Four and is also one of the items that is sold in
My Shop  in kit form.

I have added  the flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and sparkled with Glitter Magic

Into the corsage I have added another item from My Shop which is one of the Decorative Hatpins.

The card stand is from Joy Crafts and I bought mine from Ebay and  it is just the right size to hold this style of card.

I have also created a box to compliment the card and I lined it with pink tissue paper.

I decorated it with the same embellishments to match the card.

The pearls are from Want2Scrap and match the Labels Twenty Three

There is also a small baby shoe added in the centre of the card.

The round sentiment is from Lili of the Valley
