A couple of days ago I showed you a baby card in pink that I had made for a friends new daughter.
Well here is the same type of card but this time in blue and I have done a video tutorial on how to make it....Spellbinders Grand Labels 4 will show you how.

Just think how lovely this would be as a Wedding card with the Bride and Grooms names on one of the panel along with the date.
The stand is from Joy Crafts ans there is a tutorial Creating Card Stands with a link directly to Ebay to buy them.
I have used Centura Pearl from Crafters Companion for the base page and embossed it.
I have used the same Baby Feet embossed card on this one and used it for the box lid too... and there is a video on Making Boxes
The Corsage is made with flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and it is a mixture of Roses, Tulips and Cherry Blossoms and they have been sparkled with Glamour Dust.
And here is a real close up of the flowers.
After the video was completed I decided to add in the silver baby charm.
Just need a boy baby to send it too now !!

ReplyDeleteChristina, well done. Beautiful. I am checking out which Cricut cartridges I have and how to turn it into one of these cards...off to my craft room ;) Thanks for sharing...
ReplyDeleteChristina - these are just stunning. Love love the colours and all the little details. Have a fabulous week.
ReplyDeleteChristina, as always an inspiration to us all. I actually completed a card using the Grand Decorative Ovals for my mother yesterday in green, her favorite color. I will share as soon as I finish decorating it for her. Have to go now, am babysitting my grandson, full time job.
ReplyDeleteI don't know how you keep coming up with these beauties,my creativity would have gone on strike already.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card

Oh I wish I had those grand labels, I had them in my hand and just couldn't spend $75 or more dollars, eek! But I am regretting that decision now that I see what you are doing with them, I loved the pink one but the blue one really talks to me, maybe because I raised boys? mm? I love the box you created, beautiful!!! You are amazing and awesome.. Love everything you do. hugs
ReplyDeleteYou have ENABLED me again Christina!! Now I must have the Grand Labels 4 dies! My 2nd Grandson is expected in May and what a perfect idea this is! This card is stunning and would be a great addition to his baby book! I also have the book dies, but they are not the Grand size, but I could attach it to on a Card Creator die. Just beautiful!!! Thank you so much for sharing this amazing card. I am so in love with it! Hugs Lori
ReplyDeleteBoth cards have the WOW factor for sure. Absolutely Stunning cards
ReplyDeleteColleenB.

A Mermaid's Crafts
The pink baby girl card is gorgeous but for once I think I prefer the blue 'boy' - very unsual for me as I'm normally a pink/purple fanatic! Must have something to do with just having boys in our family ha ha!
ReplyDeleteSeriously both cards are absolutely stunning and a wonderful keepsake gift for the recipients.
This is stunning, love it xx Jan
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful cards. Thanks for making the video and sharing such beauty with us.
ReplyDeleteHi Christina,
ReplyDeleteI have followed you for over a year now and I must say you have expanded greatly. All you cards are gorgeous. When I try to copy and do the same things they are never as pretty as the ones you have done. I would be so honored to win something from your Blog. But do you mail to the United States?
