Todays cards are some of the samples I will be showing you next week on Create and Craft.
It is one of the new die from the Simply Said Collection from Spellbinders.
There are several in the collection that all say different things and this one is You Are My Sunshine
These dies are designed to create a full card front for you in one easy pass.
I have chosen to do mine in black card and add it to a Brusho Background for a dramatic look.
The pink one is with Centura pearl card and I have inked through the die before removing the card
Very plain very simple ... no flowers no ribbons and no pearls on either of these
I hope you will join me for the 4 Day Deal next week from the 19 th October on Create and Craft
More tomorrow ...
Hugs xx

Good Morning Christina :) When the page first loaded and I saw the black card before I even read anything, I thought... Ohhhh she's made a Halloween card today. I always enjoy seeing what you will do with a new die. Thank you so much for sharing. Enjoy a lovely day. Big Hugs.

ReplyDeleteGreat looking cards, they turned out really nice...
There is a song of You are my Sunshine...it was my Dad's favorite song and he sang it all the time....now my grand-daughter and I sing it too and we gave a plague to each other with the saying "You are my Sunshine"...this had a special meaning to me.
well done Christina
Hi Christina

Love the look of the Brusho background in the black one but I love the look of the pink one best. I love more colour in my cards. It would also depend who is receiving the card which colours I would use. Hope to catch you on Create and Craft. Dianne Crowe

ReplyDeleteLove the cards, they are both beautiful, one looks like it is flying in the sunset or sunrise and the other a daytime trip, love them.

It's amazing that the same die can have two different looks with the change of cardstock color. Both cards are so pretty and I really like the ease in creating a card.
