Butterfly Card

Hi Everybody,

The butterfly is one of the  beautiful  new images from Sheena Douglass. and the sentiment is also from the same range.

I have Spectrum Noir and the colors used are ...

PL2 LV2 LV3 and then over the top I have used the Ice Silks Acrylic Glaze

The body line has Mother of Pearl self adhesive pearl and two really tiny ones on the end of the antenna.

I have simply layered it up with purple and black card and used some lace patterned paper.  The Labels 30 is layered onto the purple and added with foam pads over the ribbon.

A pearl trail from  Want2Scrap  sits along the  bottom of the  butterfly and the  silver edged ribbon is from
 Mei Flower

A very simple card and because of time constraints today it  took next to no time to make. Hope fully I will have more time later.

More New Hatpins

Hi Everybody,

Well the Friday Freebie was claimed and is on it's way to the new owner... who I might add was very pleased to have won it.

It gives me no end of pleasure to get an email from someone who is looking forward to getting my give aways

So these are some more of the new Tibetan Silver Hatpins that I have been making and there is still more silver ware on it's way from China.

You will have to buy in bilk though and you will have to wait a few weeks for delivery

To save the cost with postage I have had mine sent by Surface Mail ... it's less expensive but takes a long time to get here, hence the wait.

But once it is all here I will show you.

The hatpins them selves are complete with end protectors and they are from Sparkles Group   ... if you add the code CG05 at the checkout you will get a discount off your purchase.

Both of these packs were  added to  Etsy and both have sold the day after.

They are not the same as the ones in  "My Shop"  ... these are far more elaborate  and there is a lot of silver used and so they are more expensive

Card Winner ...

Once again the response is amazing and thank you to everyone for ALL your lovely comments.  I have got my "Film Crew" to do his weekly draw and the winner of the Lilac card is ....

To break the post up I thought I would add this pretty card.

It  is created using one of the  Rachelle Ann Miller designs that are new in at  Crafters Companion

This one has been colored with  Spectrum Noir and  for those that like to know ...

The white satin ribbon from  Mei Flower   and the white  flowers from  Wild Orchid Crafts   have been colored with the refill inks ... TB4 for the blue ones and CT4 for the pale lemon ones and I mixed them with the Isopropyl

I have sparkled the with  Glitter Magic  and added in some pearly swirls from  Want2Scrap 

So another card will be on offer next Friday ... but I hope you will visit again before then.

Friday Freebie 003

Hi Everybody,

Thank you all for being so understanding  and supportive of yesterdays post.

Norah  responded warmly and claimed her card straight away and I hope you like it Norah ... it's on it's way

So here is this weeks Friday Freebie and it is a very pretty lilac card ... and this one is complete with hatpin.but it is not removable ... unless you wanted to really pull it out of the flowers.

It is a 5x7 with the fold at the top and the card used is the 270 gsm Linen effect from Papermill Direct    This is the card I use for most of my designs and it is a really good quality

So the other suppliers are ...

The silver edged ribbon is from Mei Flower  and the pearly flourish is from Want2Scrap

To win the card all you need to do is leave me a comment and at 9 pm this evening a  winner will be drawn from the list and the name published in the morning.

Your Opinion Please ...

Hi Everybody,

This sounds like a rant and I really don't mean it too ... but as you know I have started to do a "Friday Freebie"

And so far over the last two weeks I have offered two cards to be given away.

On both occasions I have had to chase up the winners to claim the card and last weeks winner Kiwi,   has still not come forward.

This is the card that was on offer last Friday and the winners name was announced on the Saturday morning.

I added a reminder on Facebook for  the winner to come forward and claim the prize and still had no response and so I am sorry Kiwi  ... but you missed the boat.

If you add your name and/or  comment to any of my "Give Aways" then surely it is up to you to come back and check if you have won.

I am making the cards with all the lovely attachments to them and I am covering the cost of the postage too  ... all you have to do is let me know where you are.  I think that is a fair request.... don't you ??

I have drawn another name from the hat so that this card can go before another  Friday Freebie card is shown.
