Teal and White ...

Hi Everybody,

This very striking card uses teal,  white and black for added drama.

I have layered it all up with foam pads and wrapped the ribbon around them all.

The bow has a diamante centre and through the knot I have added in a matching hatpin that can be removed as a small gift.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts  and they have the fine glitter to add sparkle from Glitter Magic

The sentiment is from Crafters Companion

This is a Hatpin I made a while ago.

I am still waiting for my silver from China ... but I promise to show you the goodies when they get here.

The background is the Tapestry Pattern and once again the card is much prettier in real life.

The pearly "Bling" that matches the label is from Want2Scrap

Fancy that ... Back to pink !!

Hi Everybody,

Well after the change to darker colored cards over the last few days here I am back to full circle again with .... Pink.

And this one is very pretty with lots of flowers, ribbons and pearls.

I have created  a Gilded birdcage and added flowers to it... and the silver foiled card is from Hunkydory

The sentiment is from Crafters Companion  and is from the Sentimentals  range

I used silver gilding flakes and there is a tutorial to show you how I did it.

The dies I used are listed below but the Birdcage one in the list is not the one I used in  the tutorial. That was one I bought at the craft shows and before Spellbinders brought out theirs.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts along with the button in the centre of the bow.  They have their usual sparkle from Glitter magic

Red Birthday Card

Hi Everybody,

So here is another deep colored card and this one is vibrant in red. Both the white and red card is from   Papermill Direct

The background has been sparkled with glitter from Glitter Magic and I have covered the whole die cut shape.

The satin ribbon is from my "Stash" and the centre of the bow some that I bought from China.

There is a heart shaped glass beaded Hatpin add to the bow and it can be removed as a small gift.
The inside is lined and the red ribbon is at an angle on the embossed card.

It is very sparkly and the picture does not do it the justice it deserves.

You don't like pastels ??

Hi Everybody,

I realise that not everybody likes pastel colors ... pinks, blues, lilacs and pale greens ... but it beats me why not.

Anyway here is a card that uses deeper tones and it really is lovely in real life.

They may be autumn colors but the card is suitable for any time of year ... and I am happy to say it was added to Etsy and has sold immediately.

So the supplies I have used are white linen card from the  Papermill Direct   and it is superb quality card for all your crafting needs.

The verse is from JustRite Stampers   and matches Spellbinders Labels Twenty Nine ... but shop around you may get it cheaper

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts  and they are sparkled with Glitter Magic

Into the flowers I have added a decorative hatpin and it can be removed for a small gift.

The pearl flourish is from Want2Scrap  and it is the La Creme color that matches the card and the Spellbinders are listed below

Yesterday I had a lovely surprise. Griff told me to be ready to go out  ... dressed smart but casual  ...at 12 noon.

He wouldn't tell me where we were going but just that I would need a coat.

We chatted about all sorts as we headed out of town and the surprise was heading in the Manchester direction.

He took me to see the  Torvill and Dean Ice Show ... and it was amazing.  I was enthralled with it all and the skating was breathtaking.

They actually did the Ravels Bolero routine that won them their Olympic medal and it was beautiful to watch.

They are not doing anymore Dancing On Ice  shows after this year and I am so glad that we got to see them.  I f you get the chance to see this very last tour you must go ... you will not be disappointed and that is a promise
