Friday Freebie - Hunkydory

 Hi Everybody,

Remember this ??? It was offered a few weeks ago and never claimed. It is such a really good prize to have as there are two full foiled kits in it to make complete cards.

It is so sad when people don't come forward and claim their prize but there is nothing I can do about it as I have no way of contacting them.

I do not keep records of names and addresses so even if you have won before I don't have any information on anybody. I rely on you to let me know that you have won when you enter your comment with your FULL NAME

And don't forget to check and see if you are the winner as I always add the name to a blog post over he weekend, and I also add it to the Winners Page which you can view in the NavBar to your left.

 Hi Everybody,

It has been a strange sort of day and it goes dark so early that anything that needs to be done has to be done early. So my task for today was to shampoo my carpets ready for the holiday season. Now don’t ask me why because I have no one combing  round this year. I will be going out for Christmas dinner instead and it will make a nice change from having to cook.

Christmas doesn’t really have the same ambience any more since Griff died. And I haven’t even put up a tree since then either. I know I know I am so boring but never mind

Parcels Filigree Frame

 Hi Everybody,

Slowly but surely I am trying to get back to normal and working my way though vidoes to showcase all the new dies I have brought to the market in the past few months.

The one featured here is the Parcels Filigree Frame and the video will show you how I created this card.

I have used Centura Pearl card  for the base and layers, which is something I haven't used for a long time.

I like the different coloured parcels on my card and the foliage around it., and I now have quite a few cards ready to send at Christmas. 

The video is not long but I hope you enjoy it just the same.

Baubles Filigree Frame

 Hi Everybody,

I have made a start on some Christmas Cards today and this is first one. I have stayed away from traditional colours and used pink for a change

The dies I have used are some of the new ones from the latest collection and this one is the Baubles Filigree Frame.

I have used a lot of foam tape to give depth to the card but it will still fit inside a normal sized envelope for posting.

The Merry Christmas die has been cut in glitter card using the two piece die set called Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

I have also add some of the Christmas Papers from the paper pack and they have been added to the front oval panel and also the inside.

For the inside I have stamped one of the verses from the Festive Frames Collection Special Verses Stamp Set 1

Then matted and layered it using the die set again.

The die cuts have been coloured with alcohol markers and I am quite happy with the result.
