My daughter wants to create a bedroom in her house, for her Grand daughter Isabella, on the theme of Alice in Wonderland.
She asked me if I would create some pictures that could be framed and added to the walls and of course I said "Yes"
This is the first and it is not yet framed ... but it is quite large. I have used Spectrum Noir pens to colour the cat.
It is also good practise for my new class that is due with The Art Studio at the end of the month on colouirng with Spectrum Noir
The image itself is from the CD The Next Big Thing from Just Inklined There are several Alice themed pictures on the CD that I will use to create the set.
The link will take you through to the website for the digital images but I don't know if the CD is still available to purchase.
Once they are finished I will show you the finished group and just hope that Isabella will enjoy them as she grows up.
More tomorrow ...
Hugs xx
Hi Christina
ReplyDeleteBeautiful picture you're so talented. I only just started cardmaking so this is all new to me, only ever knitted before now. I just bought the CD last week along with the best of just inklined and the best of La Pashe, not sure if they are still available in the shops but Amazon and E Bay have loads.I'm using the digital images to practice colouring with my new Promarkers. Look forward to your blog everyday for inspiration and ideas so thank you for sharing x
What a gorgeous image and beautifully coloured! I must take that class as my colouring skills are terrible!
ReplyDeleteChristina, surely you're not a great-grandmother??? You're far too young for that but if your daughter wants decoration for her granddaughter's bedroom you must be! Fab picture, beautifully coloured. Pat x
ReplyDeleteWow!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am sure Isabella will love them Christina, you did a spectacular job coloring this image!!! I could only imagine how fun and pretty the room will be when done..sending lots of love to all of you...hugs
ReplyDeleteCheshire Cat is too cute! I love all your creations!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great image Christina, I can't wait to see the rest of them. Unfortunately, I won't be taking part in the next class over at The Art Studio this time as I use Promarkers or my watercolour pencils to colour in (which is shocking), so I will just have to continue with other web pages that I have came across. I am glad that you told us what the next classes are going to consist of though. Thank you. Hugs, Jen :-) xx
