New Dies...

Hi Everybody,

I don't usually start my Christmas s cards this early in the year ... I like to get the feel of some summer first.

But these are some of the new dies that I have been waiting for and they are from  Tattered Lace.

I bought quite a few and there is the most gorgeous shoe die ..."High Heel Glam" ... that I will show you soon.

So today I have been busy cutting out white card and playing with them and layering to see what I can create.

The dies cut so easy and they are a pleasure to work with.

And this is the first Christmas card for this year using these dies.

I wasn't too happy with this card when I started it but once the flowers were added and the Glamour Dust it looked completely different.

And just the addition of the green pearls to the Poinsettia centres made a difference too.

The sentiment is cut from the Christmas Sentiments set and they are individual words that you can mix and match to say what you want.

I also bought the everyday words as they will mix with this set as well... and  I believe there is a Relations set coming out soon.

I have lots of ideas for using these dies and they will be put to good use over the coming months.
More tomorrow ...

Hugs xx

  6. This is beautiful Christina I love just the wee bit of green peeking out in this card. I used to make all my own Christmas cards in January!!! because I was so busy throughout the rest of the year with orders but now I have given up the "business" side of card making so I can have a well deserved break and do the stuff I want to do for a wee while. xXx

  7. What a wonderful card Christina, everything about it is just beautiful. Will definately be having a go at this or something similar anyway. Love it. Hugs, Jen :-) x
