Back to cards today and not a Spellbinders in sight.
This is simply A4 cut in half and joined together with a hinge and then each mat and layer cut slightly smaller.
The top layer has been embossed with the Ornate Butterflies A4 folder from Crafters Companion
The inside is also embossed with the same pattern and the beautiful pearl flourish on the front is from Want2Scrap
The ribbon is some from my "Stash" but the centre on the bow and the flowers and the leaves are from Wild Orchid Crafts
The flowers have been sparkled with Glitter Magic and I use the one called Chameleon for my cards as it goes with anything you add it to
It is a very simple card to make but how you dress it is up to you and the embellishments that you have available to you.
More tomorrow ...
Hugs xx

Beautiful card!
ReplyDeleteLove this especially the Butterfly embossing.
ReplyDeleteHi Christina, another stunning card, I made a card using the hinged technique as you have shown. I lined the inside and decorated it with lace and finished the front with the smallest of the large decorative ovals and finished it with flowers and pearls. I must admit it looks entirely different than the card which is just folded in half. Thanks again for sharing your wonderful ideas, I would never have been able to make such beautiful cards. Kind regards
